For now 7:00 console on airplane mode drained to 60%. I give it another charge after full discharge since it maybe due to some battery calibration process after use battery fixer. I also do not know if this battery is OK, I have few batteries that I've bought few years back. I also found info that old storage plugin for SD2Vita could cause frequent automatic wakeup's, so better to use this new plugin StorageMgr. I know that I have old plugin so probably I could also test this up. And last test that I make is after unplugging flex cable.

Yeah I think I was having the same problem as you even with the change to the registry editor. I think the best bet would be to just remove the flex cable and definitely update the plugin.

heard long ago that if u have a habit of leaving rechargeable electronics plugged in beyond their 100% charge level can actually cause them 2 lose their "zero meter" and affects battery life. the best way 2 reset the meter is 2 let the device's battery drain COMPLETELY. with the Vita, once it dies, keep trying 2 turn it back on. if u see orange blinking lights and/or the battery symble, its NOT drained. leave it unplugged and occasionally try powering on until u see NO lights, nothing. then recharge.
it may b possible 2 that your battery is damaged, from heat, liquids, etc. and may need physical replacement.

There lots of opinions about this for example batteries specially Li-Ion's have more problems with self discharging than Li-Po's. Li-Ion could be fixed by connecting the battery contacts to proper power outside the device. My old phone is dead because of this crap, maybe also that it probably have some problem with protection circuit that was poorly designed. When I bought this phone some people get devices that was dead right from the box.

But I really do not like fact that almost all devices have none removeable batteries.

Hi, im having the same problem (the battery drains when the console is turned off, it lose more than 50% of charge in less than 12 hours) on one of my PS Vitas (i have 2 oled wi fi model, one of them retains the charge for weeks and months, the other discharge itself in a few hours). I saw on several theads than this issue is common on 3G Vitas but i dont see any reports of wi fi model doing this. I change several parts of th console, including the battery, but the issue persists. Anyone have any idea to fix this? The PS Vita is not signed on PSN (it has an account registered, but i sign off because i never enter to psn now), wi fi and bluetooh always turn off, airplane mode always turn on and the brightness is on minimum. Im on 3.65 Enzo and stragemgr plugin is updated to the last version.

I removed SIM card reader also used registry fix to disable 3G. But you with Wifi model do not need this. Mine also drains when is turned off. I also upgraded all of the plugins that I use. You could test batteries by swaping them. After this fixes draining is bit slower but not really great. I have few batteries but IDK if they're good or bad. If you could test batteries by swaping. When I first got this problem i noticed it when I got henkaku, I even talked with some devs but non of them really know such problem before.

I tested all on my PS Vita that works good and all batterys work great. But then i tested on the PS Vita with the drain issue and all got drained in less than 12 hours)

Also, i dont know if this is important or not, the PS Vita that works is a USA unit with 3.60 Enzo and the one with the battery issue is a EUR unit with 3.65 Enzo

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And already try the Battery Fixer app.

I turned on my PS Vita after 16 hours of been tunrned off and have an 85% of battery. Before i turned off i have charge it to 100%. The battery lost some charge, but it seems to be an improvement. Last time it lost like 60/70%.

So it could be possible that hankaku and enso are main problems that I I thought few years back when I noticed this on my Vita?

I will charge my 3.65 OLED 3G Vita and 3.65 Slim and will copy plugins since Henkaku have some plugins etc. IDK if sth was wrong during the Henkaku old updates. I do not remember since it was some time ago if I noticed it with henkaku or when Enso was released... I also changed old enso_ex, but this also not fixed issue.

I turned on the PS Vita again and now has 70%. It lost 15% of battery again. Its not good, but is better than before. Before this, it will loose almost all battery in 12/14 hours.
To be honest, this is going me crazy.

Yeap mine drains battery like crazy... And still I have no idea what is causing this... I will backup content of Tai folder from Slim and update specific henkaku files on my OLED Vita and will report... I also have modded enso called enso_ex. Old enso have problem with some SD2Vita plugins (I also updated that) causing wakeup's during sleep. My Vita's should be charged now... so I begin my testing.

Hmm not sure why what I did to my Vita fixed my issue, I only thought of removing the SIM cards slot since I noticed it was mostly a 3G model issue and basically thought to convert mine into a "WiFi" model. Could it possibly be due to overheating of some sort?

Never notice overheating on my PS Vita with drain issues. Its not my main Vita, so i play less on that console, never have a overheating problem. What fw do you have? Normal Henkaku, Enzo? 3.60 or 3.65?

I posted last time 8:28 PM, now is 00:56 AM... Few minutes after post i changed some plugins on ur0:tai related to henkaku and applied also Battery Fixer App... now when I am posting I lost 11% of charge with all things I done before. For me it is still bad result, when Vita was new it holds charge on standby probably around few days or maybe week... I do not remember exactly. So for now I could get new battery... but there is problem with that. There is no new batteries for OLED Vita's I only found crappy Cameron Sino battery, that probably is old Sony battery with their sticker. IDK if it is true I found such infro on reddit that It is really refurb, also I heard about this brand before for other devices that have poor reputation.

Now I have one idea, but I must read somewhere about boot_config.txt file and it's content - there are orther plugins but from os0 partition, i do not wanna mess with that, since even txt file state to not edit this. IDK if this plugin's was stock Sony plugins or sth else henkaku related.

Last thing before battery swap to sth else I could try to reset console to stock settings and install fresh CFW wtih Enso.

EDIT: I screwed this up and reseted console to the stock. Then I've activated vita on 3.65, then Henkaku + enso-ex + shellsecbat. I am still after Battery Fixer run... But I noticed after few fours discarge around 5-6% on standby... so better like previously... next I will add more plugins like sd2vita etc.

Oh I no longer have the drain issue, but maybe there is something in Enso that is draining ya'lls battery or possibly another plugin? I would try to do what wiewiec did and maybe backup everything and reset the console and see how the battery is on stock. Then install Enso and see if it makes a difference, and then add plugins one by one. This way it should be possible to rule out any software issues?
