We knew that ARMS would be getting representation in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but the identity of the character was a secret, until today. Sakurai has shown us the latest character we'll be seeing added to the game's DLC roster. He and the development team are working from home, so we get to see a slightly different presentation video than usual, where we learn that Min Min is headed to Smash. Her limbs are stretchy, just like in Arms, giving the character a lot of range, and the ability to use both the left and right arms for attacks. 18 tracks from Arms will also be added to Ultimate's impressive song list. The character and state will launch on June 29th, for $5.99, or included as part of the Fighters Pass Vol 2. More paid DLC Mii costumes are also coming to the game, where Arms's Ninjara will get representation alongside Heihachi from Tekken, Callie and Marie from Splatoon, and also Fallout's Vault Boy. The amiibo line will also continue, with both Persona 5's Joker and Dragon Quest's Hero launching later this fall.

while FF started on nintendo consoles, cloud itself also only appeared in kingdom hearts chain of memorys on the gba, so kinda like vault boy is a character that only appeared on a spin off game on a nintendo console, of course now we have the ff7 port on switch lol.

I wonder what'll happen to the Min Min spirit, especially considering it's a primary. Will it be turned into a fighter spirit? Will I get it even if I don't buy the pass/the character? Will she just get two? Very interesting.

Oof. I haven't played much of any of the "It a just works" ahem..."masterpieces" yet, but damn, is this DLC the equivalent of a wet fart. I haven't played ARMS yet, IDK if I ever will given that Nintendo never gives a big discount on their games, and frankly, there's so many other characters that would have been more hype as opposed to a character from a game who's only purpose was to sell people on the Joy-Cons motion controls as far as my understanding's concerned.

Am I the only one who's not feeling this second wave of DLC for Smash who's lifespan goes through fucking next year if this is who they're starting out with?

Seven more spirits were shown to be included as well, but unlike the previous character reveals, I don't think they showed any of them off this time. They could just be irrelevant ones though, I guess.

I guess I'll experiment a bit with her, but she's not gonna be super exciting if I'm being honest since I don't care a ton for ARMs.

and the worst part is he forced this one on them lol, from what i understood even sakurai asked if springman was the main character and the arms director said no, everyone is a main character and sakurai wanted the ninja guy(which was added as a mii costume) but the director just said no and wanted this one so yeah forced stuff.

Also unlike previous fighters pass this one was chosen by nintendo themselves acording to sakurai so im guessing it will be mostly first party characters to promote certain games/series i dont doubt we will see xenoblade 2 character/ a new pokemon from expansion pak or atleast SW/sh, maybe a metroid rep or loz rep to boost hipe for mp4/botw2 or something along those lines.

I have not played ARMS yet but I like MinMin´s inclusion.

Nobody talked about the drastic gameplay change that I have thought about since Brawl: Smash Attacks in the air!!!
This opens the door to potentially all characters having smash air attacks one day (or simply a 2nd attack button).

Imagine having DK´s original Forward Air (which was instant) and the one he has had since Melee (delayed).

Why do I prefer male characters? Because I'm male myself, and I find violent women horribly repulsive. In this sense, I'm a "Traditionalist", or whatever.

At first I didn´t download Cloud and Bayonetta on WiiU but I constantly met them online and finally bought them. At that point I was already good with Cloud without ever playing with him.

Characters beating each other up, some using various weapons to do so? That certainly counts as "violence" in my book, though clearly it's not as bad as other games. The fact that there's various women beating others up is what I dislike.
