Instead of chainloading with hekate why not just push fusee-primary directly? The end result is the same, i personally only push hekate when i need to boot stock or backup/restore my nand.
Something tells me that Blawar is behind all this. He is the only suspect who has been screwing Kosmos. There's no reason for it yet. Rumour is both a toxic community, and because their Patreon was put into the N64 emulator readme to make people think they were the reason behind it leaking. A lot of people joined the server asking for leaks etc related to the N64 emulator (which Kosmos had no part in!) and started kicking up a storm when they were gagged or booted for spamming chat.
That's just an outside view of it however. I can't speak on behalf of the Kosmos team, and they haven't released a statement about it either so take it at face value.

Which leads me to believe it could be a way of stopping Ninty from approaching them legally (even though they are effectively being framed for something they had no part in).
Not to mention the Wii, they were the best and I feel that it is no longer the same with Switch. I can not imagine the Scene the same as it becomes Pay to HackMore developers gone, what a wonderful scene this generation has been...
I am going to bet that it will be ReiNX. We already lost Neutos a few days ago, now kosmos. pretty soon sx os will be the last one standing.

which is EXACTLY what they want. ReiNX is no where near the same levels as the others. So if SX OS is the last one standing
(and it just happens to be one you gotta pay for) I'm sure team-xecuter would LOVE that. Wouldn't be shocked if they had something to do with all this! Now its just them and atmosphere.
It does not even serve to mention that it is strange that while one revives, another falls. There is no point in pointing out the culprits, we already know who they are, and they don't mind playing dirty.ReiNX was dead before kosmos, so that doesn't even track.
Sounds like you made your mind up the second you saw kosmos' announcement, you should be a judge. It does not even serve to mention that it is strange that while one revives, another falls. I will only say that those who do not have respect for the honest work of others are not worth using their Software.

emunandplease explain to me the "levels" that you're referring to here. ReiNX 1) loads backups 2) can run homebrew; what else could you possibly want to differentiate 'levels'. i'm not too sure what mentality you got lulled into that all these extra 'features' are even useful to the end-user but they really aren't
Because much like GodMode9 (but even better), nyx has a lot of useful tools, and there is nothing that you can't boot from that menu, be it hekate, fusee-primary, sx... If you haven't paid for sxos, you're using hekate to setup your cfw, and backup your things to begin with, so the real question is, why take the time to remove it?
Do just like myself: push fusee when booting cfw, push hekate when doing the other things.
When people ask if they should use fusee or hekate it's mostly users that don't use hekate features on daily basis. I'm not saying to completely DROP hekate, what i'm saying its just boot fusee on regular basis and only use hekate when you really need.
Most users here only boot emummc anyway. If you're using nyx tools/features all the time you aren't the average user in my opinion.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, but how are you also able to boot emuMMC with fusee primary and how do you set this up? I've followed the nh switch guide and was under the assumption that I always had to boot through hekate and select it in the options if I wanted to boot emuMMC. I do not have auto RCM enabled as I just want to start up my Switch normally most of the time, but when I want to play around with some homebrew I boot up my emuMMC in air plain mode , that's pretty much all I use it for and I have no intention to use CFW while using the internal nand.
hate them? Why don't you HATE the asshole that put their name on it? That was done on purpose. And it served the purpose. Putting their name on it, suggesting that people donate to their patreon, puts them in real-world danger of lawsuit and prison. You simply can't make money off of Nintendo's IP and come out clean.I noticed that their name is put as the publisher. Probably why they were done for. Toxicity sucks but I hate them for giving up, either way guess I'll be looking for a new atmosphere build every so often.
I need to move on from Kosmos myself now.
Is there a reason to use Atmosphere/Fusee primary instead of chainloading Hekate? Wouldn’t using Hekate give you more options?
