Yes, I have no idea if a link is allowed, but if you just search for:
"Animal Crossing May Day Event" "bcat"
You'll find the reddit post, but it's not working for everyone, it seems you need an linked nintendo accont.

No you do not need a linked account. People that can't get it working are installing it wrong.

I have two switches. One with a linked account, one without. Both are setup exactly the same. One showed up with the a easy peasy. The other would not until I linked the accounts.
