Try linking a fake account with Kefir. Keep in mind it will wipe your save data so be sure to back them up before using it.
Did as you recommended, got linked account, both switch and phone in same wifi.
Sadly I still cannot connect mobile app as a microphone to switch (mobile app is not detecting anything).
And idea how to make workaround? Or do I have to buy USB MIC?

Sorry I'm all out of ideas. It might be worth making your own thread to see if anyone else has a suggestion.

My daughter bought Animal Crossing so she wants to play online. The console has been offline since 2018 4.1 firmware.

current setup: sysnand 4.1 / emunand 8.1 AMS0.9.4|E I don't really care about updating emunand, but I need a safe way to update sysnand. I've never done it before. Do I update sysnand/ofw through the Nintendo servers? If I do, will autorcm still be there so I don't burn fuses. That's the main thing I want to avoid! Once I know how to update sysnand...Do I need to update all the cfw files on the sd card?

Thanks fo any help!

You can dump the NAND from the SX OS menu. Alternatively you can use Hekate to dump the NAND which is better than SX OS since it can verify the dump.

Don't use the Atmosphere fork. And try using Awoo Installer instead.

So I placed 2.9.4 boot file in root (replacing the earlier file). System still boots directly into OFW and TegraRcmGUI does not detect RCM. What am I doing wrong?

So I have to reformat to fat32?
Yes

Before you even update sysMMC, make sure you are already using the latest version of CFW. Then if you want to update the firmware without burning fuses, you have 3 options.
  1. Using the homebrew application ChoiDujourNX
  2. Installing the system update while booted in CFW
  3. Rebooting the console manually into RCM after installing a system update with a jig or equivalent. Relevant guide can be found here

How do you know its in OFW?

Where can I find Switch firmware to run a NSP I downloaded to play in Ryujinx?
Those are against the site's rules.

Hey guys. Recently, I've been thinking about "unhack" (is that right?) my switch. I've been using emuMMC since I hacked my switch, and I've never booted into OFW since then. Do I need to restore NAND back up? Or I just have to format my sd card, and consider it done?

You have to restore a NAND backup made before ever running CFW or homebrew.

Guys, not sure what guide to follow,...
Switch homebrew guide or NH server github guide???
I personally recommend the Switch homebrew guide.

Hi guys,

Got a new Sandisk SD card (128GB) that I formatted to exFAT (many attempts formatting using Switch as well as MacOS), I used SD Setup to create my files and copied them onto my SD card, I boot into Hekate but the problem is whenever I try to boot into Atmosphere it just reboots back to Hekate. I've tried for hours to resolve this on my own. I even tried replace the Atmosphere files with the latest release from Github, still no joy.

You can see the issue here: https://streamable.com/wx3h3

My Switch is on version 9.2.0, but I used to be able run CFW before my old SD card died.

Format the SD card to FAT32.

When should I hold R? While in album? While booting up? Tried both and still in OFW. Or should I do this while connected to a device with TegraRcmGUI?

Cheers.
Actually your issue is that you didn't send the payload. I recommend using TegraRCMSmash instead as it is less buggy than TegraRCMGUI.

Format the SD card to FAT32.

I thought about that but the FAT32 can’t be over 4 GB in size though...

Would it be possible to partition 4GB into FAT32 and the rest as exFAT since I've a 128gb card?

Cheers

EDIT: Did some quick research on FAT32 and found out I could install games larger than 4GB using Tinfoil network or USB install.

EDIT 2: FAT32 did the job! Thanks!
