If Auto-Hen is turned on: The first time you open the browser after you have booted your PS4 it will automatically load the HEN payload. The next time it will just load the regular host menu instead.what exactly is auto-hen? like a coldboot method or do you still need to go through the browser?
@KiiWii , does your xproject still detect firmware even if the system is on an incompatible firmware? I know I saw a screenshot someone took while on 5.55.
5.05 PS4 Pro using x-project v1.5.6 user guide edition.
I've had Shadow of the Colossus suspended in rest mode for various amounts of days and it has been working fine. However, I had Shadow of the Colossus in rest mode for about 7 days recently. The PS4 turned on successfully, but the game was frozen. I was able to still navigate the PS4 home screen and had to close the application manually.
Is this a known issue? I thought SiSTR0 had this fixed in 2.1.1, which is what I used through x-project.
Thank you so much. I never had this issue on 4.55, and even had suspended games in rest mode for 3-4 weeks at a time. However, I am grateful for all the work on 5.05 and understand that not all bugs can be solved.Testing was never really done for days and days on end. We tested minutes, hrs, and a few days at a push.
I wouldn't really recommend suspending for that long even on a legit system. Save your game, power off, and save energy.
edit: does Sony have an official time limit or recommendation for suspending games?
Can I ask a quick question? I've used AlAzif's DNS exploit till now, it worked well, maybe a kernel panic or two every month or so, but I'd like to try this as well. However, how is the PSVR support? I usually run HEN with VR support over there whenever I need to use it (I think it's HEN 1.7) and I normally use 2.1 whenever I don't, but I also want to place my console into rest mode. Is it possible to do that with 2.1.1 here or maybe another version?
Thanks in advance.
Ah, amazing. I'll definitely set this up then, launching the exploit every time I boot is kind of a hassle. Thank you very much!2.1.1 has VR SPOOF patch built in, works great
If you have a 7.02 console (for example) and a 5.05 console, and you use the PSVR between the two; you can spoof to 7.02 using the custom spoofer after hen.Ah, amazing. I'll definitely set this up then, launching the exploit every time I boot is kind of a hassle. Thank you very much!
