I heard about someone making a port of TBOI wrath of the lamb or Rebirth and was wondering if i could get the files for that so i can play it on my 2DS using homebrew apps or if they could make that for me. If you can then thanks in advance

Porting games to systems isn't an easy feat. The Binding of Issac hardly runs well on the New 3DS, let alone a potential old 3DS/Nintendo DS port. And without source code there's just about nothing fans can do about it.

In other words, it's practically impossible.

The reason why i was asking is because i have been hearing of a NDS/2DS/3DS fan made port of Wrath of the lamb. And the only reason the game doesnt work well is because it is almost a 100% replica of the PC version and hasnt had the magority of things made more compatable on the weaker system. Kinda like how Brim+mutant spider+the inner eye will lag PC but does even worse on 3DS. Im just looking for a way to play WoTL on my 2DS

2DS or 3DS is at least vaguely conceivable, but definitely not the original NDS.

Even then, I haven't heard anything about successful ports of any Flash games to the original 2DS/3DS, let alone something as complicated at WoTL. It is easy to fake with something like PinBox.

Well then can you or someone else make a WoTL port for 2DS/3DS

I have a hard time understanding why you would ask a question like that. Why would you even begin to think that something like that is possible? Please, can you give an example of anything even remotely similar that was ported to the 2DS/3DS?

Well for one there is the rebirth port for 3DS.
And seeing as WoTL is a smaller game it wouldnt be as hard to run. Plus the majority of the problem with Rebirth on 3DS is coding problems

Okay, you realize that Rebirth was written from scratch using a completely new engine, right? It might resemble the original Binding of Isaac, but it shares no code in common. In fact, they had to rewrite it from scratch precisely because the original game was written in Flash and there was no easy way to port it except by re-writing it from scratch.

No one has ever really ported Flash to other systems either. Part of the reason Flash is being discontinued even on Windows is because it became too difficult to maintain even in Windows, let alone port it to another system. (You do understand what Flash is, right?)

So people were paid lots of money to port Rebirth to the 3DS and there are still "coding problems", but now you expect someone to re-write WoTL for free without "coding problems"? That's not going to happen.
