Right so here goes,

Originally i thought you had said that OFW was working fine, that you can get in or to the nintendo main menu without a sd card in..

Now..
If you cant boot into OFW then sir you have bigger issues then a sd card..
The sd card and or reader maybe fine, but a bad diagnosis.

That said, its time to look at or fix nand.

Try something for me.
Remove SDcard.

And go into hekate and take screenshots or pics of the emmc information.
If it does not work. Then we need to look at the emmc module,
Could you be a little gentle and remove the EMMC module, check the pins on the zif socket.
and reseat it.. Do you get emmc info in hekate now ?

If not . Try this.

Use memloader payload but this time mount the EMMC

Then use Nx Nand manager or hacdiskmount. and see if you can load the pyhsical drive..

Im thinking now that you have Emmc issues,

Get as much info out of Hekate take pics and post, also same with memloader and or any errors you get along the way.

If you cant boot ofw, then you def have hardware short, failure or corrupt emmc or dead emmc, il say it how it is..
You was playing a game and it froze, now you cant boot ofw and your getting Weirds emmc or sd issues, Im hoping you didnt overheat and cause a cold solder joint..

I dont mean to scare ya or think oh ffs. But we need to look at nand now..
If your able to restore or not or even boot into OFW should be our first step.
You say you have a backup,? Did you backup boot0 boot1 and your system keys ?
You should.we may need those.

Also thinking about it, try sending the LockpickRCM payload also, with sd card in. See if you can dump keys Without getting errors of unable to read package 1/2 etc..

Report back. Hope i made some sence..

Okay, so when I try to view the emmc info, it will either tell me, Failed to init emmc or the screen will freeze. I opened it up and removed the emmc module and took a look at the zif socket and all of the pins look good to me. I am attaching a picture of it and the connector for the SD card reader. I reseated it and ensured it had a good connection and put it back together but had the same results.
When I try to do anything with memloader including mounting emmc, it always says Failed to mount SD card. I attached a pic of that too.
I do have a full backup of the NAND and want to try to restore it but don't know how I can do it without memloader working.

Also when loading LockpickRCM payload, I am unable to dump the keys as I get errors for the SD card. I am also attaching a pic of that.

Need some better pics of board. Ideally around SD btb connector and about an inch all the way round it.

1.8v line / 3v line could have a short.

What errors?
Failed to enit Emmc and no longer boots into ofw, after freeze playing luigi mansion..
Sd card freezes switch hekate wont load with sd card installed. (Blackscreen.)
Memloader no go for either sd card or emmc.

Seems like power loss somewhere to me.

Any charging problems?
You know what I'm going to say don't you lol.

I'd rule out ram faults at this stage. But just a hunch, something is causing the 1.8v line to drop like a sack of shit. Could be emmc itself, could be anything.

Any mods done to console? Any chips fitted or anything?

Hey mattytrog, thanks for looking into this for me. No mods have been done to the console. The first time it was opened was the other day when I replaced the SD card reader. I also have not had any charging problems except for not getting a green light anymore when plugging in the power/placing in the dock, which started when I first posted about the issue.

I am attaching some pictures, I just moved around the motherboard, and the emmc module. Hopefully these will suffice. If not, please let me know and thanks again.

Something I forgot to mention throughout this but, I always have "Warning: Sleep mode library is missing!" in Hekate. Not sure if that is anything of significance or not.

My apologies, I didn't realize that would have anything to do with it. I saw the failed to init SD and assumed that was the problem and didn't even think about the charging light.

I`m looking at your picture of memloader.

Is that a "matrix" background that you have added? Or has it come on by itself?
