CstickY=6
I'll come back later...

Hello to whomever's reading this reply! I have a USB replica version of a gamecube controller, I have Nintendont and Need For Speed: Most Wanted gamecube version installed on my wii. I bought the USB replica version of a gamecube controller yesterday and was excited to try it out with Need For Speed: Most Wanted. Unfortunately, i found out that every single button was switched. Example: A is switched to B. I've searched everywhere on google and i couldn't find anything. I would really appreciate any help in this forum! Thanks for your help in advance!

I think the name is 'DATA FROG'. Its works with nintendont if you were wondering. Sorry for the late reply!

First you have to find your pid and vid for your controller using the hid_test homebrew. This can be found on the official gbatemp nintendont thread.

Come back here and report them when you have and I'll help you with the rest.

My vid is:0079. And my pid is:0006.
In the spoiler you'll find what you'll need to put in a controller.ini file which you have to put in a folder called "controllers" on the root of your sd card.

Yes.
Just to make sure you got this: create a text file. Put the contents in the spoiler above inside it. Rename the text file to controller.ini (make sure it does not say .txt at the end. It needs to be .ini. In case you haven't done so already make sure common filetypes are shown in explorer to be able to edit this.). Put this file in the afformentioned controllers folder on the root of the same device as you have nintendont on, which is SD from what I can tell.

I created a folder called "controller". I put the ini file inside the folder and named it "controller.ini'. I removed the sd card, put it inside the wii, launched Need For Speed: Most Wanted and it still didn't work.

The folder should be called "controllers". I just checked. Excuse me if I wrote wrong eariler. Also you can try to copy it and put an additional version of it in the root directory.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

You might also want to rename your .ini file in the controllers folder like this: "/controllers/PID_VID.ini". Your would be "0006_0079.ini"
This is according to the nintendont guide on the official thread.

I did all that. I named the folder "controllers" (named the folder "controller" instead of "controllers") And i named the ini file "0006_0079.ini" instead of controller.ini, and it still didn't work.

What file do you mean? (I'm really sorry for being beyond stupid).
The controller.ini you made. If you don't have permission to do that yet try to send me a Private Message on gbatemp. Don't worry it might not be a fault on your end. I'm hoping nintendont doesn't override your ini with its stock ini for your controller.

Actually you might have to put it in a .zip.

Click on my avatar and it should come up if you have permission to do that.
