A pleasure. So, if you like point 'n click don't forget about ScummVM. It also supports some C64 and Amiga games, I use it for the c64 versions of Zak McKracken and Maniac Mansion. I prefer ScummVm over frodo, for accurate wiimote pointer and no disk swapping.
Yes Mate! I did see ScummVm while I was browsing this thread for many hours...Sure I seen it`s 1st mentions at around the 60 ish page mark or thereabouts ..lol ......I told myself back then ,,many hours ago now..... that this was a too do Priority!!!. ..Dam ....AND THEN AFTER MANY MORE HOURS OF READING.....WELL YOU KNOW THE STORY....EEK!
I totally forgot about it.........
I did have it running on my Wii many moons ago ...So I must assume many years later that this must have progressed well ......... I hope ?
I think the setup for this on the Wiifow ( fledge68 ) is pretty standard ? config.ini from abu`s masterpack in the Wiiflow to the latest Wiiflows plugin folder ? But what then? Where does the ScummVm folder reside ? Could it be in the main Dev /root and if so ? Do I need to do anything else in that ScummVm main to make it nice and neat....I remember the wii ScummVm folder was very untidy all them years ago .....I do like a tidy ship. BTW what the best version to use in your experience ? I seen the Beta version on ScummVm main site or is there a more tweaked WiiU version.?
Any help or feedback would be most welcome Sir ..and Thank you again for your time and support.

Best Regards,

ScummVm plugin has made some progress indeed, here is the latest version that I have
http://www.mediafire.com/file/3lmg4tognbmb15h/scummvm-mod17.zip/file
config.ini is called here 'scummvm.ini' and it's in wiiflow/plugins. Just unzip the file in your device.
I don't know if you can use it with an older version of scummvm.ini, in that case you'll have to add your games again using the app itself.
scummvm games can go in any folder you like. You can select the path where your games are when you add a new game.

@Tetsuo Shima I can`t Thank you enough Sir for all your help and Support .... This is just what I needed.
I think my best course of action is to take it one step at a time or I will get swamped .
Once I set scummVm up and make sure everything is working correct...I will then move on to the next Plugin.

Once again Mate! THANK YOU .... I have read nearly the full entirety of this post over the course of the last hours and I am quite sure ...I will need to read it over..again & again & again.....before I really fully start to grasp.
Once I do set this up......it`s going to be Awesome! .........Well I shall rephrase that....it`s totally Awesome! NOW.

Thank you Sir......Your one of the Stars in this thread....I know.. ;) I have read it`s entirety .

Best Regards,

@demonfish , I admire your passion for this project. WiiFlow can certainly take some time to setup how you want it, but I feel that's also the beauty of it. With enough time and effort, WiiFlow can be however you want it to be.

This thread is filled with very much helpful information. It is certainly worth the read. I eventually would like to create a compendium of the most useful information here into a newly updated WUM (WiiFlow User Manual), so users don't feel the need to scour an endless amount of pages online to learn about WiiFlow and how to perform basic troubleshooting.

@Hakaisha Your words are so true Mate!

Just yesterday the Missus turned round and said to me .
"What the Hell are you doing! ? You been on there for Hours ."
I then went on to explain in full detail :teach: what I was trying to digest.
She just looked at me with a strange  glare in her eyes and continue on with her duties.
I did try to explain to her that reading is all part of a long learning process and to accomplish ones goals....it was essential.

Thank you Sir for your words of support...I really appreciate it.Thanks.
Your idea! sounds really good as it would help immensely in the future if one was to incorporate a full Guide . That in itself would be a monumental task indeed and way beyond anything I myself would dare to accomplish, but I am sure it will be done sometime in the near future ....either via yourself or another passionate enthusiast. Whomever did do this would be a superstar in My eyes for sure,

Best Regards,

In what file is it declared what coverflow should Source Menu use?
I mean, I get that coverflow.ini defines the different sets of coverflow modes and that platform.ini assigns a set to a platform. But where does Source Menu get its own assigned?

What a SPECTACULAR idea!! A coverflow masked as a user manual with turning pages (it actually reminds me of the books in the first Alone in the dark, LOL).
If you'll ever need some testing or a translator for this project count me in!:yay:

Here's an updated WiiSXR plugin. The original wasn't working well(at all?).
I've made this stuff in summer and haven't re-checked since then. Chances of a fail somewhere are high. Please don't throw rotten eggs at me if that doesn't work.
To be honest, I don't care much of this homebrew. Source diff included.

@Danimalzpwn3 I've posted a Game&Watch pack here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/cover-c...ith-cover-support.324714/page-95#post-8828584
Feel free to improve them if you can.
In fact, some of the games aren't playable in retroarch. Camelot Q&Q for example. Only an old Dos simulator exists but there's no source code. I'm really tempted to contact the developper and ask him the source. I still own the real LCD game but It'd be so great to have a more portable code in order to play on modern system too.

Without going into great detail, just knowing that I have my reasons, is there any way to make it so that when you boot wiiflow it automatically boots directly into a specific .wbfs title saved on my SD card? Thanks for any help!

i downloaded the 480P fix a few pages back, ive been getting DSI black screen errors when doing progressive mode on settings, did i missed any info about this or fix?
I'm not sure what you mean? Do you have more details of the error? A photo? When and where are you switching on Progressive? In a game? In WiiFlow?

The fix is applied at the moment the game is launched. So there shouldn't be any issues with progressive configuration before or after. Really you should set Progressive in Wii settings and forget about it.

I used it WiiFlow with the fix tonight, and it worked for me no problem running Mario Kart Wii.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Is there a way for WiiFlow to prefer USB if it's connected but otherwise boot from SD?

I don't keep my USB connected at all times and it's a bit of hassle switching partition settings back and forth to get the correct games to show and available for loading.

i'm a little confused by prefer. so you want a partition(s) to auto set to USB if USB is connected otherwise auto set to SD? what partitions?

i need someone to add the light blue border to checkbox.png, checkboxhid.png, checkboxreq.png, and checkboxs.png. I just realized the checkbox images do not have a selected image state like all the other images in wiiflow.
