Hello there!
I am the proud owner of a PS3 Slim with CFW 4.84 Rebug DEX, and ever since the Han Custom Firmware got out I am lost, I hear there is a freeshop but I only find tutorials for the HAN hack and I am not sure if I can use those on my PS3 with "classic" CFW. I am completely lost on installing PKG files that does not come with a fix but with a RAP file. If anyone can help me to understand how the scene works now I will eternally grateful.
Thank you in advance.

Nothing has really changed if you are on CFW, just the tools that got better.
You can always use your PS3 as you always did, all those things are for HEN users, in majority users that own a non-hackable PS3.

SO if I find a game that comes with Rap and I can't find the fix for that pkg is there a way for me to install it?

Yes, you put the rap file on an external drive formatted as FAT32 in a folder named "exdata" and install it using PSN Patch

Yep, if your user is linked to a PSN account and officially activated (not sure how possible it is to do that on DEX) do that way (the newest Cobra/Mamba will in fact autoconvert {usb000/usb001/hdd0}/exdata/*.rap to rif as long as you have a valid activation), else use ReActPSN and its fake-activated separate user method

Installing licenses is always more accurate than installing "fixes" (npdrm-free converted eboots and edats), if you don't want to bother with those use a disc version (which by the way is best backed up to a clean iso with irisman, not in the JB/folder/GAMES format)

I am having trouble coming by some games online. so this will help a lot.
