Known Issues
  • Startup takes long with a lot of Files on the SD Card, due to scanning
  • Transfer speed can still be improved
  • Untested on Horizon < 6.1
  • Max filesize is currently limited to ~4GB
  • Version 1.1 has issues with Windows, consider it not supported right now :/

So what's the difference between MTP and FTP?
mtp, i guess from a user perspective, when you connect your switch to usb, you just open an explorer window and drag and drop files. No need for using ftp programs to transfer data. (i know theoretically explorer can log into an ftp server too..but still..)

I hope this gets updated, there was a beta of this before.... but it didn't go anywhere, in fact the GitHub page says "abort" or something.

So what's the difference between MTP and FTP?
MTP is the same protocol a ton of mobile devices, IE Camera's, Smartphones, and other storage devices use over USB (Or whatever connection) to communicate with each other or a computer for example.

It's a pretty standard protocol.

Is this protocole something GoldLeaf or Tinfoil could use to install .nsp thought USB-mtp?
