Serials beginning with XAJ1:
Serials between XAJ10000000000 - XAJ10020000000 are safe to buy
Serials between XAJ10020000000 - XAJ10030000000 are possibly patched
Serials above XAJ10030000000 are definitely patched

Serials beginning with XAJ4:
Serials between XAJ40000000000 - XAJ40046000000 are safe to buy
Serials between XAJ40046000000 - XAJ40060000000 are possibly patched
Serials above XAJ40060000000 are definitely patched

Both are in the border line, 50% it is patched and 50% unpatched, more of a luck.

I Bought a RCM Jig but can't boot into RCM Mode when checking serial it flagged with a warning that it may or may not be patched
But from what I've heard and read is if patched it should still go into RCM Mode but not flash

Correct, RCM is always possible, maybe try another jig if you have access to one.

Make sure to push the jig all the way in, I tried three times with mine before I realised it wasn't in right.

I shoved the JIG as far down as I can and still no luck have another JIG coming in the post hopefully it works

XAJ400545 is probably patched. If you can't launch RCM payloads while it's in RCM, then it's patched.

Assuming you typed that serial number correctly, it's probably not on 1.0.0. If you meant XAJ7003, it's probably on 1.0.0. Regardless, it's probably unpatched.

Describe step by step what you're doing to enter RCM and what happens. Remember that RCM looks almost identical to a powered off Switch, and to check if it's in RCM, you will probably need to use something like your computer.

I have a USB type-C plugged in to my laptop and switch removed both joy cons powered off the switch pushed RCM JIG all way down on right rail then holding volume + and power button
But switch just boots back up as normal

What happens if you unplug the Switch from your laptop and try again? You can plug it back into your laptop after you think you've entered RCM.

Is my switch patched, XAJ7004009?, in the sheet this line says: 530 EUR Neon MediaMarkt Spain 23/11/18 XAJ7004005XXXX 4.1.0 Dominguti (the user), his is not patched and in the first post says:

Dominguti is in the possibly patched zone.
It's just luck?

You can still enter RCM but you can't inject a payload. Therefore no CFW.
