IOS(248).......
IOS Reload: Blocked
Loading ................
why use slot248 ? it contains an outdated IOS (v6)
why not use default slot 249 ? it contains updated IOS (v10)

installing an IOS is not enough for the console to be fixed. you need to actually tell the currently running program which IOS you want to use. (only one IOS at a time can be used, all the other installed data are useless if not actively loaded in memory)

Set the loader to load from slot 58 for the loader and 250 for the games (based on YOUR syscheck, that's the best slot)

settings > loader's settings > Loader's IOS : 58
settings > loader's settings > game's IOS : 250

bro i only have wbfs format usb flash drive 32gb with some games but only few are working
can plz recommended me perfect setting (like: ios, usb losder) for running all games
if that flashdrive works for few games, then it's not a flashdrive issue.
verify the games are good (check the sha1 for example) and not corrupted.
verify the settings, the game region, etc.

@Cyan , first of all, thank yoy very much for reply! I've made the config changes as you've suggested: Loader on 58 and game on 250; it did not made any difference, unfortunately...

Additionally I've reformatted my WD 250GB External USB HD, partitioning it into 2: 15 GB as FAT32 for the apps and the "leftover" as WBFS using the Wii Backup Manager app. It has not helped as well...

Then I've tried to backup the Wii Sports from the original media using the USB Loader GX and even this backup that "should be" 100% flawless did not load... All the games fail to load in the very first seconds after the loading process, halting the console in a black screen, forcing me to press the power button for some seconds to start over the console. I've noticed that when the console halts the 4 blue LED of the original white remote control blinks.

Is there any safe way to start the mod of my console from the scratch? Unfortunately I don't have the original NAND backup as I've bought this console used and it had already been modded previously.

If it could help anyhow, below you'll have the syscheck of my system with slight d2x's modifications.

there's nothing to remod, your setup is already good.

be sure you plug the USB in port0 (bottom on Wii), not the upper port.
cIOS are compatible only the the bottom one.

verify your game is in proper format and path expected by the loader :
/wbfs/game's title here [titleID6]/titleID6.wbfs

if you dump you disc, it'll use that format by default.

if you change the drive, or change its partition layout, you might have to force a partition refresh.
settings > hdd menu > click on first option to scroll through all partitions again and force a proper partition count/mount. this option is the one used to choose where your disc are dumped to. this is also the default displayed partition if you don't enable "multi partition" option.

why use slot248 ? it contains an outdated IOS (v6)
why not use default slot 249 ? it contains updated IOS (v10)

installing an IOS is not enough for the console to be fixed. you need to actually tell the currently running program which IOS you want to use. (only one IOS at a time can be used, all the other installed data are useless if not actively loaded in memory)

Set the loader to load from slot 58 for the loader and 250 for the games (based on YOUR syscheck, that's the best slot)

settings > loader's settings > Loader's IOS : 58
settings > loader's settings > game's IOS : 250

if that flashdrive works for few games, then it's not a flashdrive issue.
verify the games are good (check the sha1 for example) and not corrupted.
verify the settings, the game region, etc.

Ok bro but can u you only recommended me best ios and usb loader gx for wii us b losder also for nintendont

best ios : the one you have (d2x v10 r52 base57). you have it in slot 250
best loader version : 1271, I guess
best nintendont : no idea, latest release I guess

Like I said, your setup is already fine.

If it doesn't work, it's usually when using a Toshiba drive (these have issues with cIOS).
But you said you have WD, so I don't know what's wrong.

all you need is plug in port0, set loader to 58, set game to 250, and be sure your path and games are correctly located and named on your drive. that's all.

there's no difficulty, nor any need to call or make things private.

using usbloader is a matter of 3 steps :
1- install HBC on an updated console. (modmii might be fine for that)
once you have HBC :
2- install (or overwrite) your cIOS slot249 with : d2x v8 final, base 57
3- download and extract usbloadergx to your SD card.
done

Hey, is there a download link to the version of cIOS with v8 final?

d2x cIOS v6 v7 v8 v10 v10-alt for Wii
d2x cIOS v10 v10-alt for vWii
sorry the vWii pack doesn't contain the d2x mod compatible with emuNAND+Ustealth HDD, but it's very easy to replace yourself by visiting the first page of Ustealth thread.

Also, I released USBLoaderGX r1272, with IOS58 set by default for the loader's IOS.
it should fix most user's issue with non detected HDD at boot.
I didn't test it myself, so I hope the changes I did didn't break other things. but it's just setting "loader's IOS as default to 58 for a new clean install" that's all. users with an already changed settings are unaffected and not forced to that setting.

I have recently wanted to use USB loader gx to play some of the Wii wbfs files I have. When I go in, everything seems fine, the music for game intro type thing is good but when I click on it to play it, the Wii immediately puts a blank black screen on, and nothing shows up. It stays running, but I get nothing. I have used cios to get the stuff good and multi wad manager inserting a bunch of wads but still, nothing. Please I need help!

Hello.:)

That is sad to hear of your issues with your Wii games.:(

Could I ask you please:

- Which Version of the USBLoaderGX do you have installed ?
You can check it before you load the USBLoader on the Homebrew Channel on the Splash Message Screen right after you click on the Icon.:)
- Could you please post a sysCheck of your Wii that we can see of your installed cIOSes,of the Version they have and if they are correct installed.

Here is a little help how to do that:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

Thank you.:)

Actually I’m so mad right now because I spend 5 hours yesterday trying to get it to work, and I literally just tried changing my USB stick and now it works. I can play Wii games! It’s strange because they are the same stick type, a 32 gb sandisk, so it must’ve been the stuff I had on my other USB stick. Anyways now it is good. Sorry to waste your time. :switch:

hey! ok so im a newcomer and i have the same old problem with the black screen after i load a wbfs, which then gets me back on the homebrew channel. im pretty confused with how the cios works but i tried a lot of conbinations and ways to make it work. still no chance. also i dont know if this is a problem of the cios or entirely something else. anyway, here's my syscheck i would apprieciate it a lot if someone could check it out and tell me if theres something wrong or if the problem lies elsewhere. also also i use HDD.

Hello,

You have this version of CIOS ==> 249 [57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final).

Try to get this version ==> 249 [57] (rev 21010, Info: d2x-v10beta52), then test again to see the result ??

Hello,

If you run usb loader gx through the wii (Forwader) menu it may be that it brings you back to the wii menu.

Launch usb loader gx by the HBC, and result ??

What kind of hard drive do you have ??
