Did you copied settings.txt via FTP?
If so and if you have goldleaf installed check if settings.txt is a text or a bin file. When bin, goldleaf will only open it as hex.

i can open it as txt file with goldleaf

Yup, there needs to be a amiibo.png image in your amiibo folder

Always chrashes for me when selecting the game in the main screen.

Right now I'm not sure what the problem is, I'll look into it tomorrow. Can you try to redo the settings.txt file with Notepad++ ? Just to make sure every line has a newline

Yes that's it. There is no tool for the moment but I'm making a windows one. I think I'll add something so you have the possibility to put all the png files in the emuiibo folder and AmiiSwap will place them automatically in the corresponding amiibo folder (they would need to have the same name as the amiibo)

is the miis folder content important for amiiswap?

first i got no file in it, now i created a mii, and the folder contains a file now, but it still crashes.

miis folder is related to emuiibo. Be sure you installed emuiibo properly, it is a prerequisite for AmiiSwap to work.

If you're crashing when selecting a game it could be for 2 reasons. The settings file was not made properly and doesn't have newlines every line, or, the amiibo names start with a [ or something like that. Consider joining the discord and ask in support !

Sorry but AmiiSwap needs emuiibo to be installed and emuiibo can't run in SXOS because it's a kip/module. So either switch to AMS / ReiNx or ask TX to add support for kips

Easy answer: system modules/plugins to extend or modify system behavior. In emuiibo case, it adds the ability to emulate amiibos.
