Netflix will have a presence at this year's E3, plans to adapt Netflix Original shows to video games

When it comes to E3, most people familiar with it would think of major gaming companies, like Nintendo, Xbox, and Square Enix. But this year's event will also be hosting the streaming media giant Netflix, during a panel called "Bringing Your Favorite Shows to Life: Developing Netflix Originals into Video Games". It'll take place at E3 Coliseum, which is a three-day event show that occurs alongside E3, and exists to give more information about developers and their individual projects. In the announcement, Netflix teased that it has multiple games lined up for E3, all based on their popular original TV shows.

Black Mirror would be great if done right. Also many opportunities to break the fourth wall like Bandersnatch did. I feel like it could be a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness.

This is after canceling the Stranger Things videogame ..

If they don't have the money to make a videogame about one of their most popular shows then where they will get the money to make more than one game?

Well look at you...you just said piracy! Viva la piracy! I don't pirate much anymore but I could if I wanted
Everyone knows I'm pro-piracy here. I'm a firm believer in free, open-source software, and with no GLP bullshit. If the code is online for free, use it however you want. I see no issues with downloading shows that aired for free. That goes for Anime and movies as well.

I don't see a problem with it like everybody on here does. Stranger things on android/ios is one of the better games to grace that platform and it was entirely free and was a great game. Good for them, hope they succeed !

I just hope it's like the 80's and 90's, where the movie/TV tie-in games weren't crap and we're actually fun to play.
what? the nes and snes movie games were awful srs i dont know where you can even think the 80s and 90s video games adaptations of movies and such were any good, specialy the nes ones ones...

If done right, there is some gold to be mined here.
Buuuuut, I can't see this being much beyond a promotional nature using mobile titles, ala Stranger Things.
I don't think we'll be getting any AAA Black Mirror or Lost In Space games.

Eum there were quite a lot of good ones. The Lion king, Alladin, alien, alien vs predator, a lot of star wars games, chronicles of riddick, jurassic park operation genesis, blade runner, Indiana jones and the fate of atlantis, Batman, little nemo dream master, willow, Ghostbuster (Genesis), Hook, Goldeneye, Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, Dune II. There are tons and this is just a small small list

for each of those good ones there are 20 that are awful and almost unplayable also jurassic park operation genesis is from 2003 and riddik from 2004 same for nemo games so those arent 80s and 90s games lol.

Many star wars games sucked ass tough only afew of them were decent, so like i said for each game you meantioned there are 20 ones that came out that are awful so no not a good list at all.

I just named a few and wasn't going for a snes, nes list but if you want i can provide you a list with over 20 genenesis, masterdrive, snes and nes game list if you prefer that. I just find it quite dumb that people always play off game adaptations from movies as bad when there are a ton that are actually good. Many star wars games sucked ? what the hell are you smoking ? There were a lot that were good
