Has anyone gotten Darkstone to work for long periods of time? Every time I play it, it eventually crashes retroarch entirely. Usually happens when I open my inventory or load into a new area.

Here's the crash report if anyone can help here.

Retroarch opens fine in homebrew launcher however i get 15 FPS on Silent Hill but that's not the problem. The problem is cia files are not working somehow and all of them gave me all the same error: no profiles found???

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also when i use PBP (eboot) files to open games all of them crashed.

Do games work even better when i turn PSX isos in to PSP Eboots?
it depends on game i think. for example klonoa: door to phantomile works in standard iso form, but needs a bios to work and plays ok if you dont mind setting frame skip to 3-2 for choppy framerate, but thats for me it could be diffrent for regular 3ds. i have a new 3ds xl

it crashes regularly for me. trust me when i tried it after beating 1 level of a game it crashed. still dont know the issue

I know opened the PCSX Rearmed and somehow it works now. But for some reason Silent Hill 1 is so glitchy. Screen is so small at the top left but when i open the item menu it becomes normal, so weird. I think it's a graphical glitch

The glitch you experience is caused by the yellow on-screen text. You can disable these messages in the retroarch settings.

Most of these notifications are displayed at the bottom screen as well.

This also affects other cores like dosbox.

Never mind i solved it with turning off frame duping

Noticed the compatibility list claims Bubsy 3D is unplayable and crashes on startup. This isn't true. The game works and you're able to play through the whole game, but it doesn't run at fullspeed at all which might be because the game runs at 480i and 60FPS? Tested with a clean bin+cue rip converted to a pbp. It's been like this since 1.4~something but my most recent test was on a post-1.7.6 nightly.

I used a pre-made pbp without bios, so maybe the one I used just didn't work

If you're using BIOS, that definitely would be the difference. If you can, please put it in the compatibility chart

When not using a real BIOS, pcsx-rearmed defaults back to it's built-in High-Level Emulation-BIOS.
While this may work for some games, it's way slower and has less compatibility.

It is definitely recommended to use a real BIOS, region doesn't matter.

Oh, it's definitely better to use a real BIOS, but I mainly have been testing just to see how many games work well in the HLE BIOS
