"It doesn't work" can you be more specific? The game does not run? The patch isn't applied? The patcher doesn't patch? (I'm guessing it's the later) Are you getting any error message?

You may want to try with the other exe file included in the archive that you downloaded on step 3. (Instead of extracting and renaming "xdelta3-3.0.11-x86_64.exe", extract and rename "xdelta3-3.0.11-i686.exe" to "xDelta3.exe").
Let me know if this helps, if not, I'll have another look

I think the dialogues have been extracted already, it's only a matter of translating them (which requires time).
But that's not our priority as we are focusing on everything UI-related to make the game as easy as possible to play for non-japanese speakers (I know the plot is important as well).
I hope the cutscenes' subtitles are extractable/translatable !

I can confirm what he said in his post. Life is happening for each of us, we all do this project in our freetime.

There have been a few changes in the extraction format, each adding some extra functionality.
The current format is final I believe. It can generate identical copies of each original file.

The main setback is that the extraction process(es) are not backward compatible with eachother.
That means I manually have to edit/update the already extracted text, and this is what takes away most of the time.

A lot of text has been translated, that is not story related.
Some may appear strange when played, that's because we don't know the context or the box in which it'll show up.
These have to be revisited for a second round.

The v2 patch will update Items, Camp Menu, Shop, and Tutorial text translations.

- On 04.28. I'll do a release with everything that has been translated so far. Estimated progress is around 40%
- On 05.05 (or sooner) I'll do the release for VITA too.

If to lazy Well DO some important part like item or name whatever the quest want,.and Location... so people can figure that out .
Well...... that it's I think you should do them all.Even i don't know were you saying........................................?

Added storage, monster names, very minimal quest descriptions, and the equipments

For some reason the orbs are broken however. They appear as a red X on the screen.
It is the game's solution for displaying strings, that could not be loaded. Luckily it doesn't crash

Fixing it will be on high prio.

Well, first and foremost I want to just say that I greatly appreciate everything you guys are doing, and truly you owe us nothing. So, if you feel like changing it that would make things simpler for non-native Japanese speakers, but if you don't want to I would say don't worry too much about it. I'm thrilled that you're doing a translation of a game I enjoy so much; my Japanese is intermediate level and I'm dreadful at kanji, so being able to understand the game better is a definite plus for me!

That's why I said:

Going from 1.0 to 1.5 and 2.0 was too fast of a increment for the few changes that were made.

If someone was to visit this thread 2 months later, he would see that v7 is in the making.
One might be expecting an almost finished + polished translation, while in reality we only added/fixed a few hundred lines.

Hey guys, this might not be the best place to ask these kind of questions, but me and my friend are trying to play this game using lan and we keep getting stuck in the mission loading screen. Is there any way to solve this or just use a certain lan gaming program?
