it's good to know I'm not the only one that was stuck with the idea of switching graphic plugins for a N64 emulator.
Got that one, and I still have graphical issues with RE2 and Rayman 2.
Any particular setting I need to config?
fbemu on
color async
depth software
shader depth write on
less accurate blending on

Just trying out the latest Mupen64plusnext core.
Does anyone have any recommended settings for Rogue Squadron (or is it too soon to ask)?

I'm trying out the latest release and my games keep crashing. I'm running the latest sx os and I'm on Fw 6.2. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Before this release I could run my games :-/

It is normal for the zelda MM with the HD textures to suffer slowdown in 1080p but the zelda OOT does not?

Does anyone using the latest GLide build have any recommended settings for Yoshi’s Story? Everything runs smoothly until I enter a level, at which point the game slows to about ~3 FPS.
I’ve turned off the framebuffer option to no avail, and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem

Has anybody figured out how to eliminate pop in on games like banjo (both) does playing with the settings help?

That sounds like something that would need a custom patch to the game code. I don't know if they exist, but you could ask google.
Already googled it and nothing I see it on sm64 as well but less pervasive which is what makes me think it might be a setting tweaks issue

Idk why but popular sm64 romhacks like last impact and star road just refuse to work. Btw they were working on the old mupen64plus (not the next version) but they suffered from some heavy graphical glitches. Anyone here knows a workaround for these. Thanks in advance.

ran into the same problems with most romhacks (none worked on mupen next core, and some work heavily glitched on normal mupenplus core), tried many settings and configs already.
Banjo Dreamie works though.

is there any up to date mirror for the core? I dont want to search through the 68 pages of this thread...
thanks in advance!

@m4xw Ho ly shiit. Using the latest hekate and svc version of mupen-next is the best ever. Thank you so much it's perfect for me. And did I say it's fast? Because damn it is FAST.

Currently my setup is:
Played loads of smash and mario kart. Zero to no stutter!

Is this still your preferred method? And are you pointing the forwarder channel directly at the retroarch nro, or loading the homebrew menu then retroarch?
