Just as description i got a 500gb HDD and used verbatim? To format at fat32 and now to transfer my backups from my flash drive my computer refuses to recognize my HDD unless i format to ntfs which obviously won't work from what I've read

Why use the FAT32 file system? It cannot handle files that are bigger than 4Gb. You'd be severely restricting yourself in the process.
There is no need to use anything above fat32 for anything Wii related and is superior to any other format for Wii usage

Sorry, I did not notice that this is the Wii section of the site. Back on topic, though, I recall formatting my flash drives to "nbfs" format (I think) using a special program to make them work with a softmodded Wii.

NTFS I believe. There's no reason to use NTFS on a Wii.

FAT32 can still be used with WBFS files, they'll just be split. Don't use NTFS or WBFS as the HDD filesystem because well, it can get corrupted, so yeah.
He is just out of the scene too long. A long time ago you had to use wbfs file system - it was a while before they figured out how to run backups off fat32.

But is there a mac equivalent?
Wii Backup Fusion is one I've heard mentioned for Mac use.

The corruption was an issue with some programs only, namely WBFS Manager and anything else that's based on that older version of the wbfs library. With a decent program it shouldn't corrupt. It's still not recommended though, since it's only useful for Wii games, no emuNAND, no GC games, and no support from other homebrew such as emulators.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.

I live maybe 3 minutes from a Dairy Queen, so I would just go there for ice cream anything anyways. I usually get the Oreo Blizzard, or a Peanut Buster Parfait.
