good luck finding a cios creator that wants to make anything anymore, the cios people were rare and extremely smart and they are gone now lol.
Yes, it is a cios. It is possible to implement the usb gc adapter, but it's not my priority right nowWould this be something that you eventually implement in the future releases?

This is a quote from that thread....
This is a cios that you have created right?

I don't know yet. It might happen, yesDo you want to leave this code open in the future?

Sorry about the late answer.
The hack is a custom IOS module that replaces the stock one that handles USB communication with the on-board BT module. I am currently testing it by loading using a custom neek2o build, but the module can be made part of d2x as well.
As far as progress goes, I haven't stopped working on it. I had to work on other projects that had higher priority, but I should go back to this one ASAP
As long as the controller works with gc games (or wii ones that support the gc controller natively), then it will work with these cIOSes.I might become a patron so I can test this beta out a little bit, I just have a couple quick questions first. My wii is fully set up already with dx2 and I already can install cIOS's with the dx2 cIOS installer, so would this be enough to run your beta? I don't really see the need to set up a neek2o build if it's not totally needed. Is your beta app a installer similar to the dx2 cIOS installer or just a .wad to install that takes care of everything and does it come with a readme file. Lastly this is my gamecube controller set up for the wii right now in the picture shown below, i'm pretty sure this will work and not cause interference with your cIOS as it is just a wireless receiver that acts as a wired controller. I just want to be certain with you first. Thanks again for your hard work on this project.
No, it's pretty much the same thing, simply because the IOS module I replace doesn't interfere with the custom ones implemented in neek. Also the cIOS works on real NAND as well, like shown in the first video in the first post.Isn't it harder to build a CIOS that works in neek as opposed to natively? If I recall correctly, only waninkoko's cios rev14 works on neek (by chance, not design) future releases including d2x doesn't work properly on an emulated Nand / neek environment. Anyhow, I'm just curious why your cios will work on neek but not real nand, thanks.
@maddenmike95 Also just to remind you, Wireless GC controller are called Wavebird controllers
