I don't know yet. It might happen, yes

Thank you my dear for the answer, I use the Retropad 32 to play on the Wii, and connected it on the game cube doors it does not have access to the system menu and wii games unhappily and I think with this Cios the creator of the retropad 32, could get around this problem.

Sorry about the late answer.
The hack is a custom IOS module that replaces the stock one that handles USB communication with the on-board BT module. I am currently testing it by loading using a custom neek2o build, but the module can be made part of d2x as well.
As far as progress goes, I haven't stopped working on it. I had to work on other projects that had higher priority, but I should go back to this one ASAP

I might become a patron so I can test this beta out a little bit, I just have a couple quick questions first. My wii is fully set up already with dx2 and I already can install cIOS's with the dx2 cIOS installer, so would this be enough to run your beta? I don't really see the need to set up a neek2o build if it's not totally needed. Is your beta app a installer similar to the dx2 cIOS installer or just a .wad to install that takes care of everything and does it come with a readme file. Lastly this is my gamecube controller set up for the wii right now in the picture shown below, i'm pretty sure this will work and not cause interference with your cIOS as it is just a wireless receiver that acts as a wired controller. I just want to be certain with you first. Thanks again for your hard work on this project.

As long as the controller works with gc games (or wii ones that support the gc controller natively), then it will work with these cIOSes.
Sadly right now the cIOSes beta are designed to work with neek2o. A d2x version will come, but it's not ready yet, sorry.

Isn't it harder to build a CIOS that works in neek as opposed to natively? If I recall correctly, only waninkoko's cios rev14 works on neek (by chance, not design) future releases including d2x doesn't work properly on an emulated Nand / neek environment. Anyhow, I'm just curious why your cios will work on neek but not real nand, thanks.

No, it's pretty much the same thing, simply because the IOS module I replace doesn't interfere with the custom ones implemented in neek. Also the cIOS works on real NAND as well, like shown in the first video in the first post.

So, any progress so far? I'm personally keeping an eye on this project, but it seems that in 7 months, there has been no progress whatsoever, not even for Patrons if the main page of the Patreon is any indication. Honestly, not even a "A program to configure the controller for each game has been made, but it needs tweeking until beta release". None, zero, nada.

Don't take me as a hater, but a hyped fan. So hyped I'm dissapointed there has been no progress.
