What I meant was the average user doesn't care about things like paid XCI-loading when free NSP-loading is available.I care about at least XCI loading and HDD support.

I'm not talking about free XCI-loading, and there's a thread about it where it becomes obvious that a lot of people don't care too much about XCI-loading in general.I'd like free XCI loading....
Which is probably why SX OS hasn't had (and may never have) a 7.x update.
If SX OS sales have slowed a lot since the release of free backup-loading CFW, then it might not be profitable for them to add 7.0.x support either way.would be pretty funny if that happens or should i say doesnt happen. i bet scriesm is getting a giggle out of this.
i wander how much money there trying to throw at scriesm to get him on board even though it wont happen.

The average user doesn't care about these things, at least not enough to pay for them.
I'm genuinely curious what the SX OS sales are like. After 3DS backup-loading became available on free custom firmwares and after Gateway found updates to be too hard, they stopped supporting their hardware. That's probably not happening yet, but that's likely the eventual end of SX OS somewhere down the road.
I know, I was probably too subtle.
Talking about average users is too vague, I believe there are a lot of people who care enough about XCI loading to pay for it. I don't believe all TX customers come here and post, partly because this site doesn't have exclusivity to discussing Switch piracy and also because of the anti TX rhetoric.
The average user doesn't really care about the difference between NSP-installing and XCI-loading when one of them has a price tag and the other one doesn't. XCI-loading is analogous to 3DS-loading, and it was only the 3DS flashcart holdouts who cared about 3DS-loading when CIA-installing became a thing. This, combined with the comments in threads about XCI-loading, make my comments above a fair assessment.I know, I was probably too subtle.

The average user isn't a specific person.Don't speak for me the "average user"
That is my point exactly. See what I said earlier in this post.XCI loading is the only reason I use SX OS
I'm sure its that way for a lot of people

I'm an average user and care about XCI files, Usb loading and Emunand, those that say they don't care, only say they don't care because they don't have an option to use them.
GrayOPA posted sales were over 250,000 a couple of months ago.
You don't get to decide if you're indicative of the average user.I'm an average user and care about XCI files, Usb loading and Emunand, those that say they don't care, only say they don't care because they don't have an option to use them.

While you don't get to decide if you're indicative of the average user, I do get to decide if I care about XCI-loading, etc., and I can tell you I don't and that it's not because I don't have SX OS.those that say they don't care, only say they don't care because they don't have an option to use them.
When I talk about the average user, I mean the general user who just wants free games. He or she usually doesn't care if he or she has to install it. See Gateway's history for more information.Do you mean most users? Do you have numbers to back it up?
None currently, but it'll happen eventually.Would like to see official 7.0 support from SX OS, but really, what games are requiring this that are worth playing?
You don't get to decide if you're indicative of the average user.
Pretending those numbers are correct, they don't account for ignorance with regard to free NSP-installing alternatives. See my point above about how the average user feels about the choice between the two.I think over 250,000 average users have already decided that XCI, Usb loading and Emunand is important to them, that's why they bought SX.
I've been an actor fulltime, I love bringing smiles to people and aslong as I'm not harmful I see not what could be wrong.
