Hacking 4.73 update

Hi guys,

I have a PS4 on 4.73 and trying to update to 5.05. I have tried the usb method and disc method ( god of war) and won't update, kicks me back with SU-30627-8 error.

Any ideeas? The bluray drive works

When you say USB method do you mean booting into safe mode or just using the update option in system settings?

Both safe mode and update from system settings. Disc method as well. All with same result

Did you ever use update blocker on 4.05/4.55?

Also always MD5 those files bruh, just in case.

Not sure on the blocker as the console isn't mine.
I have checked the files and got them from 3 different sources

@Ilie11 I know you’re on 4.73, but: Try running the ftp payload from http://zecoxao.github.io/ for 4.74 and see if it works and can view the update folders.

If they have temp files in, remove them and try update again.

Nothing works unfortunately.

I have downloaded recovery update and it does the exact same thing.
I have formatted the hdd in my pc, tried to reinstall system software from safe mode with the recovery file on the usb and it does start to install but when it gets to 100% it says 'cannot access system storage'

Any other ideeas?

How do i do that? Can't use the browser as it asks me to sign in. I have tried the other method of using the browser but no luck

Hmm yeah that’s a point, wasn’t there a method to get to a search bar from userguide somehow... I’ll check it out...

He could use Alazifs DNS settings and userguide and the 4.74 section of Alazifs host to unlock the browser.
Sorry I dont have time to explain how. @KiiWii Could you help with this.

I dont think Alazifs 474 ftp is working so make sure to use zeco's ftp.

Yeah if you have a PC, use AlAzifs PEH, start it up on pc, connect PS4 to same network, manually enter his dns specified in the app, open userguide and try 4.74 sploits.

Try browser unlock first to get out of the userguide mess, lol, then FTP using zecos latest github.io version
