Gaming Anyway to add update files to xci's

Forgive me if there is already a thread out there for this already, I know there is an nsp option but wasn't too sure on xci.

Ultimately what I want to do is store the files for both doom and wolfenstein inside the xci as the update files stored on the sd card are quite big.

I would like the entire file in one xci for storage purposes.

It can be done, I saw a guide recently... also the nsp update can just be installed to sd card/nand and just use the xci as long as they are same region
