Installed the offical nsp of retroarch and changed the hbl_tid in loader.ini to this...
Everytime I start the app the console crashes by trying to load the homebrew loader... I am on 5.1.0 using the recent hekate payload...

any advices, I am trying to upgrade from 1.7.5 where I was starting retroarch by the nsp itsefl...

Ok... found the reason... it seems that it doesn't work with the retroarch-nsp... changed it to hbl_tid=app and its working with other nsp/games now.

Thanks! - Now the $-Club can come :)

This is confusing as heck to me. I am on SX OS and want to use the new Hekate features. Can someone explain this to me like I was 5?

Nevermind I think I get it. I'm not a patron (yet) and don't have all the files needed.

I am patron, and i would like to know how to use sx os emunand with hekate. Does anyone get it work?

The nightly version does not work for 4x, because currently libnx doesn't allow me changing JIT types and I want to avoid redundant code
Patched hekate improves performance because it allows mupen to use a different API which is waaaaay faster, no memory permission transitions needed.
Lucky for you, on 4x, you don't need a patched hekate to enjoy the gains.
PM me and I give u the version that works on 4x (no patches tho, as they are not required for 4x, like I said)

Does this mean, booting with hekate is ok for mupen? So we do not need to boot by fusee-primary?

what? This is technically not possible.
Wait until they steal it.

Of course. As long you load atmosphere with it. I never used fusee even once.

How do u load this modified files that u have like ur saying to chainload how is that done

m4xw when u going do on Wii U n64 mupen. why there is no n64 retroarch for Wii U?

Most likely reason is that most people don’t own WiiU, and even those that did have moved on to Switch.

It’s not impossible that someone might port it to WiiU, just far less likely than for a current generation, popular system.

Oh man................the issue exists on other cfw too.

you can still use these files but you have to change your setup you need sdfiles for latest atmosphere i use kosmos it also has an updater nro then use the load payload feature of sx os to load hekate to atmosphere add an ehsop title to loader ini and read this thread for more helpful tips and info

basically u need to load the app differently

Yea because first you use SX OS and 2nd you use the NSP, thats like 2 strikes in 1 go.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Thats true, wasnt GX2 and gl kinda similar?
Not sufficient, might as well write a new GFX plugin from scratch

I would be great to get the dynarec ported to WiiU too.
Far from being feasable.
Also I have 0 clue about the PPC architecture.
