You're welcome! Sorry about the mishap.

It's still possible to boot scummvm games in WiiFlow Lite, just like in the previous WiiFlow iterations. Although, newer updates of the Wiimpathy's ScummVM plugin exist now.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/libgba-gameboy-advance-library.488984/

Download ScummVM Mod 15 from this link, and extract it to your WiiFlow folder^

After this task is done, make a copy of your scummvm.ini file found in SD:/apps/scummvm , then place it in your wiiflow/plugins folder. scummvm.ini specifically creates the list of games for WiiFlow Lite to utilize, so be sure to have your games set up using the ScummVM app/channel beforehand. (If you want to add more games at a future date, use the app again to do so, and copy over the newly updated scummvm.ini to your plugins again).

(scummvm.ini is also a file you can open and refer to, when you need the required game file names for the box art PNGs)

EDIT: Disregard copying over anything from Abz' pack. This download has everything you need. I do still recommend placing your own scummvm.ini file in place of the one that comes with the download.

So I did all of this. Everything makes sense. I just let all of these files overwrite what was there from the Abz pack and deleted the old mod 13 .dol file. I reloaded cache.
When I pull up the plugin in wiiflow lite it just says it cant find any games. I have definitely loaded all of them up in ScummVM via the channel before moving my .ini file over to the plugins folder. All of my covers are in the correct folder and are named according to the scummvm.ini.

Idk what I'm missing but im sure its right in front of me.

Hello colleagues,

I wanted to ask if I could get a full languagefile with all Text Pieces that are used in the Default language Setting, as all additional languagefiles are missing parts of the textes what causes lot of missing titles or button textes when choosing another language than Default. I'd translate it to german, russian and French.

Also I wanted to ask if someone can teach me a bith to modifie old themes to work with new WiiFlow. Im no professional developer but experienced a bith with IT stuff like webdesign, Basic Knowledge on developping in Java and JS. If I could get able to do this I would apply it on every old Theme that I can get. Also if everything I Need for this is to have a look in code of the few existing files that are updated for WFL allready, just tell me so and Ill do it more systematic than I allready did

@regiplex , open your scummvm_plugin.ini with a text editor and add this line below, then save it:

rompartition=1

Adding this line to any plugin.ini will tell WFL to load that specific plugin's media/roms from the USB path.

Awesome! I'll try this as soon as I get home tonight. Thanks again so much for the help. I've been trying to solve most of this myself for the last month almost by sorting through threads from the last 7 years and trying to find up to date files and guides with correct information.
So again thank you.

Im sry for this, I used the download funtction for language files which were missing parts of translation. Now I tried the language files from first post of this thread and they work like a charm :).

@Rapisho here's a very old webpage that explains themes a little. it's from wiiflow 2.2 but it should give you a start at understanding how theme's are made.

https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki/customization/themes/theme-template

Ok ill have look on it, thx. But ive hab another idea, do you think someone would be interested in getting paid, lets say 20-50€ (Bitcoins would also be possible), for updating at least my Favorit theme or two to five themes or the more the better? Just in case Im totally not able to learn it^^? What would be a good way to find someone willin it to do?

@Hakaisha I followed your instructions and boom it now works! Thank you so much!

Does neek2o or sneek or uneek (I have no idea the difference or what I need) work with wiiflow lite? Ive followed numerous guides and found numerous versions and have never been able to figure this one out. As of now since N64 emulation isnt perfect I use the VCs. Since the Wii nand is so small I cant just fit them all on there, and they dont all launch straight off the SD card. So right now I load 4 games off of my emunand via wiiflow, 4 games on the real nand, and the rest on the SD card launched via the regular wii menu. I'd love to be able to load all of these via Wiiflow but I gave up a while ago. If this is too much of a hassle its not a big deal to me. I just figured I'd ask if this is possible since you've been so helpful.

@fledge68
side note is there someplace I can donate to show my appreciation?

Thanks again for all the help

I use wiiflow to load my wiiware backups all the time. You don't need (x)neek to be able to do this. You can use showmiiwads, a Windows app, to install the wads into a nand on a hard drive or SD. Wiiflow can rip one from your machine to a nand named 'default', using that, you shouldn't have to change anything. Have a look around the nand options.

no need for donations. but thank you.

wiiflow and wiiflow lite are compatible with neek2o (sometimes called uneek2o). it's complicated to explain. but to keep it short:
1. you will need to get neek2o files and put them in a folder named sneek. why sneek? because sneek and uneek are the predecessors to neek2o. neek2o is a modded version of sneek and uneek. the sneek folder goes on the root of either your SD card and your USB drive and the kernal.bin goes in it. example:
sd:/sneek/kernal.bin

2. you'll need to install your games into your emunand (using showmiiwads or some other means)
3. when you select the game in wiiflow lite go into it's settings and set 'Launch Title with neek2o' to on or yes and then launch your game.

only a small handful of wiiware/vc games will need neek2o. mainly n64 games and rebirth games.

I'm wanting to use the emunand strictly for N64 wiiware backups. That said I've used wiiflow to extract the nand to my usb hdd. I've installed wads to it via Wiiflow and via showmiiwads. All of this I'm understanding. I just can't get all of the games to load. About half of them either never load (just a black screen) or they freeze at the Classic Controller screen. I was able to get 1 or 2 working by forcing either 249 or 250 and forcing NTSC. For the rest I just figured they wouldn't work unless I could get neek2o working which I gave up on.

@fledge68 I'll follow these instructions and see if I can get it working.

@kaisersozeh I haven't gone through and tested all the games through wii64 but I've read that the more recent updates have made a lot of the games much better. However, my understanding is that the vc injected wads have the best reproduction if you can get them to load reliably. They all load straight off the real nand reliably and play great but the real nand is just too small to host all of the games. I could be wrong about this but I have never had any problems with loading vc wads straight from the real nand.

@fledge68 I followed your instructions for neek and lo and behold the games load using neek2o mode! However now I have a new problem. When I leave a game I get a frozen black screen and the blue LED on the disc drive keeps blinking. any ideas?
