The background music volume options are not saving on 3.5.0, always resetting to default everytime you enter the emulator.

I can confirm a bug in the current version. DSI error if the game is loaded via Wiiflow. In the past versions it was working
Test these builds, let met know which one works on Wiiflow (Version A or B).

great work out of curiosity any chance for a icon and banner i recently got wii u and want to do injection
Sure, provide me a link to download a sample homebrew with the files you mention.

Okey, i'll try to get a test build for you, to point the offending commit. Could you please test Wiiflow functionality against GX latest release? (4.4.2)

also in my setup (usbloadergx plugins mod) all the latest gx releases (fce 3.4.2, snes 4.4.2 and vba 2.3.9) make the system crash with dsi errors, previous versions (3.4.1, 4.4.1, 2.3.8) don't.

Version B worked.
Version A DSI error
Great, so the problem is this commit.

@soniccomcisbr I would suggest opening an issue:
https://github.com/dborth/snes9xgx/issues

I'll remove the korean/jap font support in the future if it can't be fixed, guess Wiiflow is more useful as a feature.

Really? You can't attempt to fix it? It shouldn't be that difficult.
I've said it on the original post and countless times: i am not a coder nor an expert, but merely an enthusiast sloooowly learning about this from scratch. I am a filmmaker, in fact. So, yes, really.

Not that you're obligated to fix it, you're entitled to your free time. I am certainly not complaining, people does this only for passion or the challenge, mostly. So, having said that, happy gaming. :grog:

Yep, i am slowly testing each commit and catching up. BTW, you haven't supplied me with the sample download to make the banner and icon.

Yes, any .ogg file should work. As a rule of thumb i try not to encode with more than 128kbps, but that's just me. I recommend you to use oggdropXPd (Windows) for your .wav files, it's a pretty clean and simple app.

I too have tried this with no success.

Is this only working for SD I am wondering? Also does .ogg file have to be looped or is there a time limit the .ogg must not exceed? Thank You

EDIT**
Ok, I did manage to get it to work through Homebrew Channel. If I try through Channel Forwarder it is default background music. I am using through USB btw since my SD
slot is not working. Thanks

You must be doing something wrong. I tested and re-tested it many times.

Some general things to clear up:
- Check that you're using the 3.5.0 release.
- I am currently using a 4 minutes song for the bg_music.ogg (96kbps). Before that, i used a 3:32 track from the SNES Mini theme (128kbps). So no, no limit for the song duration (i wouldn't use an hour long podcast, though ).
- It works in both SD and USB mode. Tested personally.
- Don't just rename your .MP3/.WAV files to .ogg. You have to re-encode them (someone wrote me a PM where that was the issue).
- While it is unknown to me how you are encoding your files, i will recommend again: use oggdropXPd, its super simple and easy.
- Finally, make extra sure your file isn't named bg_music.ogg.ogg (if you are using Windows, untick "Hide extensions for known file types"), because that i can assure you won't play on the emulator menu. If the .ogg is inside the respective folder along the boot.dol/meta.xml files, it should play without issues.

Fine, issue identified at least! I will later make the disclaimer for Channel Forwarder users.
