I honestly have no stutters in most of the games i care about like mario the zeldas they run great but im using the exclusive files on m4xw discord if you became a patron

can someone explain about hekate and is that essential to use to get better performance? or is that only for a new test build or something? ive read a few comments about using hekate to load cfw to get full speeds exc.

There's some patreon only builds of hekate with RWX patches to reduce the stuttering with the dynarec

Is everyone pointing the loader.ini to retroarch.nro or hbmenu.nro? Does it even matter which?

So is m4xw giving his patrons access to a new hekate build that CTCaer hasn’t released yet?

Personally i use it to point to pokemon quest which then loads the hbmenu hope that helps.

I see significant difference in many titles with latest hekate but it is behind a paywall of sorts currently considering it is only a dollar i sincerely feel it is merited in terms of the performance the mario 64 boot difference is particularly noticeable

sorry i have been looking were to download the last build but i coulnt find it, or at leas the last build public does any boddy have the link?

Tried N64 out with the .nro in OP first post (don't know if that's the latest or bot) and wow. Every game I've tried runs full speed!

I'm playing through Banjo again and it's like I'm 10 again! :shy:

C’mon guys! This stuff has all been discussed in this very thread not more than a page or two back!

where do i put the mupen_coreoptions.txt file?

The first time you run RA it creates a cfg file. Use a text editor and copy/paste the configurations there.

Everyone is using the latest nightly.

That’s answers my question thanks. I’ve been using Binding of Isaac to load hbmenu but have been contiplating using hbmenu.nsp and having eshop title load retroarch.nro to see if it makes a difference. If this is even possible as I don’t know the hbmenu.nsp works.
