Its not really power stuff; its literally jamming metal into your Switch. You're making it a lot more complicated than it needs to be. The only trouble you could potentially run into is shorting pin 4 which can mess up the voltage of your Switch but its nowhere near the pins you connect pin 10 to short it out which include pins 1, 7, and 9. Most jigs and paperclips connect pins 1 and 10 together to ground 10 while aluminum foil is used to join pins 9 & 10. You can even take a cable to connect pin 10 to the metallic screws on the rail or the fan grill on the top.

Potentially.

Is they're a video tutorial on how to mod the switch you can reccomend? i'm always nervous about looking up youtube videos because a lot of the time the info is outdated or something, and I have a hard time reading instructions as opposed to watching a video where I can actually see what's happening.

That's the way it goes.

Just as a follow-up: i've used @rajkosto HacDiskMount and mounted the SYSTEM partition. If the file modification time on the save/* files is reliable, there were no modifications from yesterday (nor to other files - some of them had this attribute empty tho) to the error logs according to Windows. Got me relieved a little more.

The only YouTube video I would recommend is one that shows how to make an aluminum foil jig to enter RCM with. Other methods of entering RCM are pretty self-explanatory; a jig for example just goes into your right Joy-Con rail without any further manipulation. If you intend to use a paperclip, this thread has the recommended dimensions. For other ways of entering RCM, you can refer to this thread. The entire process from RCM to putting the necessarily files on the SD card to finally sending the payload should be followed with a text guide such as the ones already linked to you.

Hi, I'm new here and new to the Switch. I just had a question about getting games to my Switch if I have a FAT32 SD card and Goldtree only works sometimes. I also can't get Tinfoil to work; it throws up a Error 2234-0095 whenever I try to get a version on my Switch that does USB Installing. So, if any of you would help me with either of those problems, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

Edit: I just tried updating my ReiNX, but, no luck, I already have 2.0.

Download the .nsp of the latest patch and install it.
Hi, this does not work, it gives an error when I tried installing it via SxOS and ChoiDujourNX and it errors out.

Any idea?

Would compiling the XCI to NSP and injecting the updates have a higher chance of working?

Have you tried Fluffy?

simple, yet probably dumb, question:

is deja vu exploit still unreleased?
No

Smash requires a minimum firmware of 5.1. This is not patchable because the game is specifically programmed to run on that firmware and the only way to patch it would be with the source code.

What happens if the switch is in standby mode with autoRCM on and the battery becomes empty?
Will the switch shut down and restart automatically in RCM and so the battery will completely die?

So if the battery fully drains with autoRCM then you need to leave it charge for about an hour before you can resend the payload and have it launch. once launched it will charge properly

So, I need some help.

I installed CFW on my switch today, and moved all the files to another SD card because I realised I would need more space. I went from a 64 GB to a 128 GB card, if that matters. I tried installing one game with the 64 GB card, and that worked.

Now, when I enter RCM and select CFW, it shows me the blue Atlas screen, Nintendo logo and then goes to black. I can still get into the old firmware.

Could it be because I switched SD cards? Did I brick it? Can I just delete all files on the card and start over?
I'm using hetake and atmosphere, switch version 6.2. If that helps.

Please help, I've been at this for hours.

What format is the old card vs new card?
