There is no need to repeat yourself many times over. Thats what makes you a pest
Posts get buried and questions get repeated. It happens alot with active threads. Though I still don't understand why this thread is so active. There aren't any new facts known that weren't already widly known before this thread.

Boot0/boot1 are both firmware-specific so you can't just flash an old one once you update to 7.0. You would need to reinstall EmuNAND.

Wait what? We need to reinstall EMUNAND and all games everytime we update the firmware? Isn’t it possible to simply update the EMUNAND alone and leave the ofw und 6.2?

I'm not entirely sure. If SX EmuNAND really relies on the modification made to boot1, I don't know if SX OS let something as big as this slip. Maybe if someone has successfully updated their SysNAND online without their EmuNAND being uninstalled, then we would know for certain.

But regardless about how you update SysNAND, as far as I know, everyone updates their EmuNAND with ChoiDujourNX.

I am going to be the first to test that then when the update arrivesxd,But first backup my saves then ready to brick my emunand (if your theory is correct)

Seems like they're scheduling maintenance around next Monday. That could be a good hint next Monday will indeed be the day.
If it isn't, we can just blame @garyopa :P

I honestly wish he hadn't posted cause now I'm paranoid on the small chance he is partially right about it being soon.

Wait, Wii U eShop is closing this week then? Highly doubt they'd give a couple days warning when they gave over a year's notice for the Wii's shop...
They warned months ago doubt all you like lmao

Wasn’t it just the Wii eshop they said they’re shutting down - not the Wii U eshop which is remaining active for now.

They do if you can afford to buy it

Not starting a flame war here, but if you can afford any Nintendo AAA game, you can afford an SXOS. Yeah, they use open-source code and wall it off and all the other complaints about them, but they do offer an all-in-one, easy to use solution for the peons, or people who don't want to spend a lot of time tinkering, which is nice.

That aside, I wonder what 7.0 will have in store for us from a functionality side, if it is indeed true to be released SOON. I'd personally like to see some official Nintendo Theme's finally.
