Unsure if it's my Switch issue, SD card issue, CFW or the game itself. Trying to play The Legend of Zelda - Mystery of Solarus DX (solarus engine)
https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-legend-of-zelda-mystery-of-solarus-dx-solarus-engine.500222/

After selecting the save, the system crash. Attached is the error message:

No idea on what to do.

uSDcard is FAT32, 128GB Allocation Unit Size of 32K
Already tested the uSDcard using F3 (Linux)
https://3ds.hacks.guide/f3-(linux)

OFW is 3.0.0

I have a question, sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask

Ever since i switched to atmosphere (i was on rajnx before) i lost my RetroNX gba games saves because they simple dont appear anymore, and when i try to load state on any game it just make a loud noise and freeze.

Is there any way i can fix this or are my saves lost for good?

This makes zero sense. What CFW you are on would not make a difference. Saves are stored in retroarch folder... /retroarch/cores/savefiles

Or if you are missing a savestate it is in /retroarch/cores/savestates

It is probably a configuration problem. Back up your config files to your computer then delete them from your SD and try again

The savestate is there, after i load it the save it actually loads to the point where i saved, the problem is that it just freezes with a very loud music.

Which configuration files should i backup and delete?

The 2 in the /retroarch folder

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

If that doesn't fix it you probably have bad roms
If you need more help I suggest joining the retroarch discord and asking for help there. Let's not hijack this thread

Are you using exfat? If so, run a disk repair on your computer to try and salvage your files, then back them up and reformat to fat32.

Hey, i'd like to request a simple(?) feature: give us an option to start games or maybe apps in general in different languages. I wanted to do this and googled around, but apparently a game's language is tied to the system's whole language so you can't run a French switch and boot a game in English, for example, if the game has a French localization. Switching the console's language every time you want to boot another game is bound to get tiresome.

I know the 3DS' homebrew channel supported a feature like this relatively quickly, but i don't know what the technical side looks like on the switch, of course. SO maybe i should instead ask generally: Is that feasible or would it be a non-trivial task to implement?

yes sir new build

Yeah 0.8.3
Just released some minutes ago, introduces the warmboot thing for when the system crashes, it reboots into CFW.
Though you still need RCM on initial boot.

ohhh you mean that thing that when your console crash it reboots into amtosphere. cool. can you tell me how i know if my console is using atmosphere? i mean, i used sd setup website and selected kronos when hacking my swtich. By default kronos uses atmosphere?

Think it means that once you have atmosphere loaded, if it crash it will reload atmosphere again.

What I gather from the changelog is that:
  • Pressing volume + or - when a fatal happens will reload atmosphere
  • Holding POWER and volume - will promt mantenance mode so from there you can choose another CFW?
