So sometime back in June, I think, I installed the homebrew launcher on my switch, I used a custom DNS or whatever hosted by somebody else to load the exploit though the browser (forgot the name) I heard that Nintendo bans people if they find Homebrew related error logs. (or even if they see that they've been cleared) And I haven't used homebrew since August.

What I want to do is remove homebrew, update to the latest firmware, and use my switch in a Vanilla unhacked state.

Is it possible do this without getting banned?

Once you modded your Switch and you don't have a clean backup, you can get banned (unlikely, but can).
They can't ban me at the moment because it can't connect me to their servers due to the DNS, therefor it can't check the error logs or other files. Right? It will only be once I connect it to the internet without a whitelist. What can I do to clean it up before doing this?

Were you ever online with some error logs?
The safest thing (this is totally my opinion) would be to initialize the console and then rebuild your 3.0.0 NAND. That's as clean as you can get. (if you were always offline, dreport for cleaning error logs).

If you can block every known Nintendo IP that the Switch reports too then you are good or have a firewall that blocks all traffic except for what you want (YT IP's for example). I recommend the 2nd option.

It has to connect to one ninty server in order to access the internet at all (but that one does not check anything).

Will they see that my error logs have less entries than the last time I connected to the eShop?
