I don't even wanna mess with the over clocking. There's always a risk of overheating your device and no way I would take that risk. I'm just gonna leave it at stock clock at all times. So far I've tested Mario 64 and killer instinct. Mario 64 does run at full speed most of the time but sometimes I noticed it lags. For killer instinct I was only able to get to the character select screen and after that retroarch crashes. Hopefully by the time the stable version comes out that it will fix all issues.

Am I wrong to assume this? Is it completely safe to over clock at even the max?
We don't give you dangerous options to begin with, also the switch would shutdown before any damage happens.
If you manage to overheat it with RetroArch, well, it would overheat without overclock too (i.e. desert ambient temps, broken fan)

Frickity frack, gonna have to tear my Switch apart, still getting about the same horrible fps and audio stuttering, setting it to dynamic_recompiler as well.
Change your settings already

when i use the nsp, the screen is green an fuzzy , any idea why?

regards
There is no supported NSP.

Ahhh, but I did, overclocked it to the max, set the resolution down to the minimum, and set to dynamic recompiler. Still doing something wrong I'm guessing?

Why do I bundle settings if people wont use them?
For the extra lazy:

Also, get used to the stuttering while code recompiles.

I know you say the nsp is not supported but that’s what I used and it seems to work.
I know that I had weird crashes that are in direct relation to our own NSP.
You think I say our own stuff is not supported because I feel like it?

No I don’t think that, I guess I was just going by the few games I tested for a few minutes.

Take this as a fair warning to not use any NSP when using the dynarec for the forseeable future.
I am to using the nsp version of retroarch with dynarec it seems to work very fine but i only played like 10 min. But everything seems to work fine. Should i rather start retroarch from the homebrew menu.

For now? Get rid of it (for the dynarec)

Go to retroarch folder and in core folder replace the mupen nro with the one from here.

I get error code 2168-0002 when I load from homebrew browser from atmosphere. I deleted the nsp thinking that was the problem but it wasn’t.

Edit
When I attempt to load a game I get the error.
