Hacking Best Method To Transfer CFW/Games Between Two 11.9 2DS-XLs?

Hello:

I just got CFW installed on my nephew's 2DS XL. His friend said he would throw me a couple bucks to put it on his too, but I'm not thrilled about it because the process takes me a long time since I work slowly and carefully.

From what I understand though, there is a quicker method to transfer CFW and all games between two 3DS consoles. However, for some reason I cannot find the guide on how to do it.

The specs are: Both New 2DS XL, both with 11.9 firmware

Does anyone happen to know where I can find a guide to do this? Thank you

You can't really transfer CFW (except DSIware, which costs money and thus is outdated). Easier and fastest method is using ds flashcard and ntrboot or the free method: frogminer.
Best way of transfering games is to just redownload the cia again.
So no guide really.

Install the games on the new console as you did with the old one. You can use Checkpoint to restore your savegames on the new console if you want to.

And even though if you could do a "system transfer", you'd have to install the games again on the previous console. There is no point.

I see. But isn't there a way to transfer the CFW over to the other unmodded console?

no its not that simple . . . what you can do is install cfw on the new system and use godmode9 on the old system to create .cia files of your games then you can install them on the new console

Ah okay gotcha, thanks. I think I misunderstood something I read months back. I believe I'm accidentally thinking of the movable.sed part of the process which can be done with another 3DS.
