Hi guys...

I have emunand running from a folder on the sd card. I'd like to do a couple of things before updating it.

1. By default which folder(s) store the emunand on the sd card, I'd like to make a backup before changing anything
2. Is it possible to move the emunand from a folder based to hidden partition based ( i understand that the card is formatted during the process, therefore not clear if this can be done via the SX OS?)

When i moved to emunand I did a full reset of the original firmware and wiped it clean, therefore I can't boot into original and create a new hidden partition emunand.

I guess i could do a backup of my game saves, create a new emunand from the clean original OS then restore them..?

Appreciated !!

:)

Is better to make backup of your saves and them make again the emunand again so you don't have errors

thanks guys....

the original switch nand was wiped back to factory default (5.2) after making the emunand.

I've just used Checkpoint to create a backup of the saves I want to keep, so i guess just boot into original 5.0.2 and create a new emunand with the hidden partition.

Just before I do, which folders on the SD card containing the emunand should i back up before reformatting the sd?

Thanks :)

I'm not sure you seen my post, you can move your emunand no problem, no need to backup saves etc.
