Love this guy, m4xw sure is the MVP here.
Employee of the month?

(Sometimes, peoples thought process of "cheering someone up to hopefully get something free in return" just baffles me. ;) Someone should tell them that "whos best" was only a thing in sports and management seminars on employee motivation - mostly - before social media came along. ;)

In further questions:

Who is the best lawyer?
Is Linus Torvalds the best at Linux?
Was Einstein the most valuable at physics?
...)

Now, what would other Switch developers have to do to get that MVP batch even once, I start to wonder...

If someone manages to get Saturn to run full speed, he sure will get one !

But you know dude it's just a personal opinion like other devs do great stuff but I'm fond of emulation so obviously I'd consider someone doing a great piece of work on emulation more than someone making for example some huge cfw features

Thanks manager, I'll make sure to let the employees know.

(Which is kind of the point of contention here. Sure m4xw has done huge feats for the scene - and probably would be deserving of that label, but then what do you say to the other 20-30 programmers that maybe only stepped in to solve smaller but maybe more complicated problems along the way - and paved the way for others to do their work. What do you say to the programmers, that volunteered 100s of hours maybe just to do cleanup work, ... Better luck next time? Step up your game?)

I hope you will. Hurry before Treasure releases an official port for Radiant Silvergun !

Eh who cares

I honestly don't get why people waste their time with this n64 garbage

YAY we can play games we already played 20 years ago!

You may as well be saying we shouldn't watch classic films that we've seen before because new movies exist, or never re-read a book. I'll tell you why we play classic games. They're fun. They were fun then, and they're fun now. I can go from playing Zelda 1 on NES to playing Breath of the Wild and everything in-between and have just as much fun with all of them.

Nothing wrong with nostalgia friend.

I can see someone had a unhappy childhood

He wanted GoldenEye for Christmas but their mum bought Superman 64. They never got over it.

Yes, because modern games are 100% original and exciting! /s

I'll take Fallout 76 over Banjo kazooie any day

Then they made it worse the following birthday by getting them that Sub-zero Mythology game

I'm so stoked about this, so many good N64 memories. You would not believe how many hours I put into Area 52 on Perfect Dark with bots.
