An N64 compatibility list with retroarch OC and core settings per game would be nice
I tried 3 games, Zelda OOT, GoldenEye and Banjo: all are very slow with uggly sound

I saw such a list on Reddit. Anyway, enable threaded video and threaded audio.

It works but its nowhere near perfected.

I tried Ocarina prior to the nightly and it was horrible. Trying after the nightly, And I noticed a few issue. On Max performance, it had a little audio lag. When I pressed the pause button, the screen went white, and then loaded to an area I was previously before the menu came up. Before I could even get to the Deku Tree, the entire screen went blue, I assume because of the overclock and poor stability.

Hello, all of you mates. I'm using play list buddy, and I'm seeing that the options have disappeared in Arcade mode, download mame dats and download Fb alpha dats, and I do not know how to enter the dats of mame 2000, mame 2003, fb alpha ,,. Somebody knows of some tutorial of how to do it with mame and fb alpha with play lidt buddy to introduce the dats. Thank you very much for your help.

Finally got a chance to set up RetroArch, and it’s an incredible achievement. Thanks so much for your hard work @mx4w and others!

I have one issue and one question:

1. Loading a FDS game led to a black screen and hard crash. This is with FCEUmm, FW 3.0, Atmosphere 0.7.5. I have the bios in the correct folder. Is this a known issue?

2. In input settings, is there a way to set a button combination as the trigger for a hotkey (e.g,. L and + to toggle FPS)? When I try, it only accepts a single button. In addition, once you set a hotkey, is there anyway to remove it besides resetting the configuration file?

I searched on both of these to no avail. I appreciate any help.

Most simple answer - audio lag on OOT can be combated by enabling driver audio switch_thread. After that there is almost none at 1.7OC (depending on render resolution, none on default). The texture issue in menu is an issue I have as well - its most likely a Mupen core issue. (As in to be fixed never, most likely. ;))

Should not happen, maybe its this:

As of 2012 it wasnt implemented (https://forums.libretro.com/t/button-combos-in-config/89/20). And yes - there should be a way to set a hotkey to none, in the gui afaik it is to select the entry and just wait a few seconds while not pressing buttons.
Any atari jaguar love?
Someone already posted in here, that they got rayman running on a jaguar core in full speed.
Anyone test having overclock enabled for long periods? Like, hours worth.. While playing a PS1/N64 game.
The retroarch team did as a whole. For weeks. They released after they felt comfortable not breaking peoples devices. There might still be a residual risk attached that is yours to take.

Do you launch retroarch via gallery>nro by any chance? Otherwise, no - this is not a common issue.

You all got serviced.

Do you have a less powerful switch than us? Did you buy a mini switch?

To quote myself from a posting that got swamped, by "but what about me" postings, as usual.

Core settings: bilinear filtering 3point, framebuffer deactivated,
System settings: 1.7 OC
Video Settings: threaded video on, vsync off
Driver Settings: driver audio switch_thread

= no sound crackle on Zelda OOT.
