N64 is still pretty hit-or-miss. Some games work now, others seem to chug independent of CPU speed (read: Paper Mario.) The number of PS1 games running at a stable maximum FPS with a slight overclock (and not needing 1.7Ghz at all yet) is a noticeable improvement over before.

Thermal-wise, it also seems relatively stable. Then again, I also replaced the shit paste with MX-4.

Nice work, @m4xw.

Is the overclock stuff in this version?
Oc was released on the 28th so the nightly build should include it

It is, but make sure to update the cores from the core updater. Also keep in mind if you use the stable nsp, you won't be seeing the options until you load a core, because the version in the nsp is the 1.7.5 stable version. The switch has no form of dynamic linking currently, so when you load a nightly core you get the nightly version of RetroArch.

Long pause entering menu was an issue on other platforms (even other emus) before.
See: http://www.emutalk.net/threads/13878-Ocarina-of-Time-subscreen-delay-fix-codes-for-all-ROMs

Glitching textures sounds like an emulation issue as well. (Probably the emulators fault and not the port). That said there even are texture issues in the OOT menu, one of those games where you'd think that people would have cared to fix that, so... *whatdoIknow*

Hello notimp
You don't know me.
Small service requested from you
Can you test mortal kombat 2 (usa) on sega 32X and tell me how this game works for you thank you
I don't have a fighter sprite.

Do multi-bin psx games work? I read they aren't compatible with the core but I can't find psx games that aren't multi-bin. I have been looking for castlevania SOTN and tomb raider 2.

Thanx for the answer. I tried with .pbp roms but I get a black screen and have to reboot my switch.

Do I have to put all the files in the roms/psx folder? I mean, *.bin, *.pbp and *.dat.

I didn't change the name of the files.

You only the the Eboot.pbp. Goes like; your psx roms location/Game Name/Eboot.pbp
Update RetroArch if you haven't as well

An eboot.pbp
Does not need anything else but the game in.pbp ( no bin or cue)
I play castlevania sotn with eboot
Confirms that it works
Small precision
It works at 60fps without oveclock
At 1020mhz cpu stock

Good afternoon, i have finished installing Overclocking (Retroarch) I can select the options to overclock, etc. But when i select to load an N64 game rom, it simply displays an error and turns off my nintendo switch. This does not happen to me when loading gba roms, snes roms, ps1 roms, just specifically N64 roms. Do i need to make an adjustment or something so that i can make them work?

Im running Fat32 SX PRO Version 2.0
Original firmware 6.1.0

I forgot to mention this,
When i start Retroarch, The FPS does not start at 60 frames. It starts from 1 and then it goes up really fast, it does not stay at 60 frames.

I had the same problem with the N64 games. I solved it by installing the NSP version of retroarch.

About your second question, it’s because it is a frame counter. It shows total frames displayed, and not FPS. I don’t know if it’s possible to change it. I have been looking in options but haven’t found anything so far.

Thank you for your answer, i will install later on the Retroarch NSP file and have the Retroarch NRO. file app saved in a folder just in case i need it. I will put updates on how it went.

Onscreen Display > onscreen notifications > display framerate On or off( fps) > display frame count on or off (display the current frame count onscreen
