Already have this
Zelda has never been at 60fps
Except on this one emulator that forces the framerate to 60 fps
Like for example the core parallel not available on retroarch switch
Zelda us max 20 fps
Pal 17 fps
About that, that's about it on real n64

The game is very slow
It can’t run at fullspeed
And i saw people here who got it running at fullspeed thats why im asking

I can't hit full speed either with video threaded on trying both regions. Is anyone able to get 30fps on a US oot rom or 20fps pal?

Fzero X must be one of the only games at 60 fps on n64

On android gpd xd retroarch core parallel option For 60fps in all games n64

Anyone test and see if there's any benefit to using EU N64 games instead of US?

With Wii64 different regions would have different compatibility

Where can i get this please?

i just messed with the overclock on SX OS 2.3 beta and now my switch crashes upon boot when using SX OS, i can still get to whatever is in Kosmos 11.0.1 (i keep it on my card as an alt cfw).

not sure how/why. i booted mario 64, set overclock to max. fiddled with some settings in retroarch, namely just frame buffer off and then crash, which happens i get it. reboot and i get 2168-0002 error when booting to sx os.

EDIT: my custom ResidentMenu.szs was corrupted. only in SX OS though.

Think I'll pass on this. When it comes to overclocking tablet sized devices, I learned my lesson a long time ago. :O
The difference
gpu docked / 307.2mhz > 768mhz
Gpu undocked > 307.2 mhz
Cpu docked 1020 mhz
Undocked 1020 mhz
We agree that the switch docked its gpu can be 768 mhz, and does not cause any problems because this frequency is accepted and validated by nintendo,
The difference from undocked gpu is about 400 mhz, thermal heat less on the gpu, with the retroarch overclock Cpu at 1520mhz, gpu at 307.2 mhz, compensates for the heat input
We can therefore say that undocked the switch oc at 1520mhz does not produce any additional heat, the gpu heats more by nature than the cpu.
I don't encourage anyone to use the oc, but to fry your switch with a cpu oc 500 mhz undocked oc is not serious at all

I read somewhere in this thread that some persons switch actually exploded because it been overclock. This was an extreme case I assume. What exactly cause the battery to explode and is there somewhere we can prevent it ?

Was linux lakka cpu at 1.9 ghz + gpu oc 1ghz ( several week h24)
Gpu oc in retroarch? We don't have it here.

Play several weeks 24 hours a day To a game without a break?

For now I left the switch at 1.7 ghz (with a game running in demo)
Battery 100℅ > 12 ℅
I can't even hear the fan that needs to cool down.Because my switch is not hot enough....
I repeat, I don't encourage anyone to use the oc, just me testing
I do it for tests, I wanted to know if I needed to change the thermal paste (Artic mx4).... But from what I see now, for my switch? The quality of the application of the thermal paste is not the same ,each console is different, as far as I am concerned?
She doesn't need that.

Did you disable framebuffer emulation

the US version of oot is intended to run at 20fps and 17fps for pal

Yeah zelda is 20fps basically thats just how it ran.
