I keep getting corrupt data errors on my copy of Diablo 3 --- is that because I'm installing to the SD Card?

I did the same i push cancel but it never loads... having same issue with another few games... im on 6.0.1 and installed using tinfoil

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

This is exactly my problem too

I didn't install via tinfoil and I'm not having any issues. I can only assume that it is the copy of the game you've downloaded. I am using an NSP and it works with no issues.

Hey guys, same issue here but not same game. Airplane mode since day 1 btw...
I can play Diablo 3 offline no problem.
I had the same issue with Dragon Ball FighterZ (check my thread : https://gbatemp.net/threads/dragon-ball-fighterz-network-requirement.521617 )
I only solved the issue by reinstalling the NSP game every time I want to play it...
NOW I also have this f*cking issue : Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is blocking my the same way, blocking the game start by network requirement. If I hit cancel, nothing happens.

I've been able to play this game for the last 3 or 4 days offline and also multiplayer via ad-hoc and have had no issues whatsoever. I first played it on 6.0.1 and updated to 6.1.0 yesterday and still don't have any problems.

After testing all my installed games, the issue occurs with a dozens of installed NSP's. One thing I may have noticed is that it happens with NSP's I have installed using SX OS nsp installer... Not really sure about this tho, will try reinstalling all blocked games with tinfoil to be sure.

I have the same issue, i just hacked my switch, running 6.1 atmosphere and using tinfoil, i install the game and the update then launch the game but i get internet check error message before the game launches from the home screen, this happened to me for all the games i downloaded, DK tropical freeze, Arms, Outlast, all get the same internet check when i tap on the game icon from the home screen, the only game that i managed to work was mario odyssey and the only difference is that i downloaded it xci but converted it to nsp myself using 4NXCI,
there must be something happening because onky mario worked and all the rest are showing the internet check error before even loading

Not only can you play offline, but the game was advertised as such. All content is in the cart. The only thing I've found that requires going online is using the in-game mailbox.

There was a time where we were able to bypass the school's network using a VPN that wasn't blocked on the radar. Can't exactly remember the name, but I was able to watch YouTube.
