People were downloading NSP files (games) from Nintendo's own Content Delivery Network, just like the actual switch does when you purchase a game. Now we have to resort to FTP servers.

Alas the candy store is closed for now.

CDNSP was basically an app that used a console's certificate to access the E-Shop server directly and download any content for free

You'l have to find the update files on certain sites. Like that certain dark one. Or possibly the land one

No one needs game update unless you can't finish the game due to bug.
And we don't really have time to play DLC because we have few terabytes of game to play.

Who is we? DLC generally just adds a bunch of bonus itens, so it does not influence the game longevity and those who add story are generally really short, so i think most people enjoy DLC.
