Yes I bought the switch with zelda and skyrim, but the lack of notice paid 64€90 skyrim does not make me happy really NOT and zelda? without comment, not even a world map nothing?, the cartridge a jacket, a plastic case...
What is the difference between a person who puts his zelda cartridge in his switch, and a person who buys in dematerialized on eshop? An empty piece of plastic without instructions

Hi, just to be sure:

Remove all internet connections on Switch. NAND backup to 64 GB SD. I can then do whatever I want unless I for some reason go online. If I want to use the online services I have to restore the NAND, then add internet connection and connect. And while in homebrew mode I should never update firmware (via a game cartridge, possibly XCI?), because then my NAND backup would be worthless. So to update firmware I have to restore the NAND, then update, then create a new backup. Correct? And don't use AutoRCM in case you sometimes run out of battery?

I think you are good, but the return of nand dump on exfat and if firmware 6.0 poses a problem during recovery? Since it is said that it is better to be in fat32 with sxos 1.8 ( crash web applet mario galaxy) firmware 6.0

Just try not launching a game or service that requires a working webapplet such as Super Mario Odyssey. If your card is exFAT, it can easily get corrupted from the crash since V1.8 still doesn't support webapplets.

Fat 32 4GB file limitation
So I too have my own nand of 29 go, I am in firmware 5.1.0 everything works perfectly, no need to add problems.

Correct. Update your firmware via ChoiDujourNX and your games via update NSP files. You can also make a new NAND backup before restoring the clean NAND if you don't want to go through the trouble of restoring everything you lose after you restore your clean NAND.

Not on the auto rcm ( what is on is that it modifies nand? boot0? Boot1?) for the battery, in rcm it should recharge if docked long enough

I did it on my nand that it's dangerous during the restoration, especially if we follow the process there is a good reason and forget this point, it is pissed in a violin, and you do not make the 4 seasons of vivaldi like that
At worst if not sure cut the router checks otherwise redump nand offline
Do not hope go into the menus quickly disabled wifi... It is already too late

See the report of a person who was banned because an nsp update started it stopped the update in progress switched offline,( the worst thing is that the nsp it had the original and it's the backup that was updated) result banned too late the lazy search post a gba temp

Want to get XC2 DLC and dont want to get it via NSP (idk, i dont like NSP, i think they are riskier than XCI) so i dont mind paying 30$ after downloading 200$ on games (maybe more....)

Anything i should know?

DLC still involves installing a fake ticket which is presumably what Nintendo would use to ban people when you go online with NSP files installed. I doubt they have a way of automating whether someone owns an NSP when they go online otherwise everyone would be banned already. You could try removing the ticket and data before you go online, but a NAND restore is still safer as we don't know if there is other banworthy info stored elsewhere.

So lets put it this way, would you recommend installing NSP files as of now, with future online play in mind? Or stay with XCI, if i dont want to risk more than im doing now?

If whatever is working for you continues working, there's no need to add more dangerous elements to the mix right? If you do, then that means you either accept the increased risk or you add extra steps to ensure your safety. From the looks of it, you're quite content with the way you're using your console as it lets you enjoy all of your hacks but without a ban in sight. If it were me, I would take every precaution in the book but that's because of who I am as a person rather than it being the best decision. For all I know, the methods you utilize might be the secret to enjoying hacks without getting banned. I know none of this doesn't directly answer the question, but I don't usually offer advice for what people should do as I trust them to make their own decisions. Hope this helps put things into a better perspective.

Nope, there were plenty of users who never touched freeshop who either were upgraded or just found out they were cdn banned. Nintendo is taking no prisoners this time around.

Why? I thought they would only superban you, if you update .nsp games you dont own etc.?

Did you use again a banned account on your new switch? That could probably have tagged you again for the banning.

Don't know where you got that idea. It's well known that both xci and nsp piracy are easily detectable. Basically if you do any kind of hacking, expect a ban and consider yourself lucky if you aren't.
Also all bans got upgraded to superbans, no matter what it was for

You mean cuz I only play XCIs offline and aren't banned yet that my plan isn't foolproof?! Even Tho I told 100's how to stay unbanned that way? /s
