Sorry to bother you but @FIX94 can you canfirm that ?
dont have a wiiu here so no clue. I mean maybe thats correct, and in that case it should be easy enough to just run the cbhc channel to get into the homebrew launcher and just use the installer again from there.

Hi pals,

So in summary, having the 5.5.2, with CBHC installed with the FW 99.99.99:
  • We don't need to "prepare" the WiiU, like uninstalling, or deactivating anything as the CBHC or Hasxi or whatever, is this true?
  • After upgrading, we just go to the Homebrew Launcher, and install CBHC over again and that is all?

Thanks in advance,

Best

So for CHBC users, we just update withouth removing CHBC, then launch haxchi and reinstall, or do we first uninstall CHBC, then update and reinstall it via haxchi?
just update and then click on the CBHC icon, launch homebrew launcher and from there launch CBHC installer again. It's that simple

If system.xml is not updated (FIX94 said it is not in the update) you should not need to reinstall CBHC installer...
No idea about that. But as others have mentioned also, after updating, CBHC stops autobooting. The Wii U just loads into stock FW.
It is not part of the update; it's changed by the OS (locally) when a launcher app is (re)installed
(while, as seen with CBHC, any app can be forcibly set as default app - it does not make it of the launcher category: System Config Tool has a feature to select your default app but it doesn't display your CBHC game, only Wii U Menu on typical retail consoles)
