Nevermind, thanks "guys" , it was the dongle that was dead , so i use tegra rcm and thats it.

Ugh, I also have the pro and the multiple reports of the dongle eventually dying (dead capacitors or whatnot) makes me uneasy, like I'm just waiting for it to eventually happen.

How long have you had it?

You're mad because you had to charge a dongle that literally takes 8 seconds? K.

I've had absolutely no issues with mine. Sometimes shit just has to charge.

Guessing you didn't read the post properly...

The dongle hardware just died. Won't charge. It's DEAD

In his edited post he claimed that it was just dead.

I've never come across anybody who's dongle gave out on them. This would be the first that I've seen if that was the case.

You know that the dongle's capacitor runs dry after around 4 or 5 days, right? Just power on your switch normally, insert it for five seconds and it's full again.
Your incompetence is no reason to bash TX now, is it?
Now I feel lucky my dongle still works when using it once a month!

Can dongle die if it's left uncharged for a long time?

Just like your phone or laptop, yes.

Oh boy...
There has been loads of reports of the sx dongle dying due to the caps,
Some say they wont recharge..Some say the solder joint for the caps was crap and re solder to make it work again

The dongle is nothing like a laptop or phone at all, the dongle uses caps to hold charge and there nothing like batterys

The dongle only needs to charge the caps for around 5 seconds and this should last a while..

Like the comment below said is the correct response.

And also overcharging the cap or leaving the dongle connected for very long periods of time can also damage the device,Some say you can also charge the dongle with the microusb lead, but i cant see this being true

so there you go,if its dead why not build your own or buy some of the project dongles being made by users on the gba temp forum >https://gbatemp.net/threads/d-i-y-payload-dongle-modchip-injector-thread.514577/

There are also cheap dongles you can buy if interested,,
