No. TLS? Is that from Github? (Remote Install can even be used for that?) No, I mean that what I'm trying to do is installing a CIA from my PC to my 3DS. Same network. It's a pretty simple procedure.

Some more info: I launch the HBC through Rosalina. Then open FBI through it, and then try to Remote Install, which takes us to what I described in my first post.

Edit:
Even more info: This is why I don't get an option for Arm9 Patcher in my Luma. Because it's updated. Look at this excerpt from the patch notes:
v9.0
ARM9 exheader and FS patches are now always applied as they cause no drawbacks

Nevermind. You weren’t clear and I didn’t realize you were installing from your computer. Thought you mightbe installing homebrew from the net...

@Steveice10 Does FBI now have the ability is use a seeddb.bin file directly for offline installation? (Rather than having to use hydroseed to convert the seeddb.bin into individual .dat files)

Also would an "install any missing seeds for installed titles" option be possible?

Before FBI installing your *.cia, you can seed decrypt using GodMode9. Here is a list of known seed importing methods.

Possibly a dumb question, but I'd preffer to make sure, where is the seed taken from when importing the seed? Nintendo's CDN? If so, what is the request like? Just a normal http request that only sends the titleID? And would it be possible for Nintendo to block it in the future by requiring ticket to be sent like in case of freeShop and the like?

FBI returns this error when trying to remote install, and using BOOP. It worked before, and then this started since a few updates ago.

I don't know how to make a QR because I am unbelievably inexperienced.

Getting the same error as you.. I got it to work with a 1MB title eventually, but I'm trying to download something that takes about an hour and got the error just before it happened. It's getting a bit frustrating.

if you're downloading something that takes an hour, why don't you download it to your pc first and use ftp to put it on your card? Whether it was addressed with an update or not, I can't remember, but it seems a lot of these download reports got more frequent after the old TLS version expiration.

Judging by the IP address shown on the screenshot, they mean local download, from PC, not internet. Also, the whole point of installing that way with FBI is to not have the cia on the card taking space.

got it, but if there is an issue, FTPD will get it there, and assuming the CIA is valid, FBI can install and delete the .cia.

Since the paerson who asked has enough space, they can do that, yes. But what if they have, for example, 2GB free on SD card but want to install a 1.3GB game? There is no enough space to have CIA file on the card.
