Time for another massive changelog!
  • Restructured the questions (yet again) so it flows better. Examples include gutting the banned question (which is redundant considering eShop access is its own question) and moving the ban-type-related-questions to the front
  • Added several new questions including if people restore a clean NAND before going online, disabling eclct, usage of creport, whether people play trimmed .XCI files or not, and if users injected certificates using LayeredFS (who would do this nowadays?)
  • Since people wanted me to bring back the only question I felt too pointless to ask, I've now removed the Potential Categories Tab altogther
  • Now there is a tab about the best of way of avoiding being banned by linking you to a guide that not only shows you how to backup but restore the NAND
  • Added a new optional question of whether or not people have pin 10 soldered or constantly high/shorted when in Horizon. Answers to it can be found under Potential Categories
  • Removed color coordination for the Regions column since people have been banned from every corner of the globe
  • Collapsing of several Comments as well as offline Homebrew entries into Notes for easier viewing
  • Updated Excel Spreadsheet for personal usage
Uncle drax, do you believe that 1.6 will let less chance of ban ?

EmuNAND is a second NAND allowing you to dual-boot on the Nintendo Switch. One of its purposes is to preserve a lower firmware while simultaneously being able to boot a higher firmware. Another use is shoving all of your hacking onto one NAND that stays offline and doing legitimate stuff on the other in an effort to avoid getting banned. Lastly, it can be used to prevent your SysNAND from getting bricked by letting EmuNAND get bricked instead.
HM ok. and how do I get there? is there already a video?

Higher firmwares can only ever increase the chance of a ban if not keeping it the same.

EmuNAND is not out yet. This is how it would hypothetically work based on previous renditions.

No, i was talking about SX so, with their new update of 1.6
Its like 2 AM here so forgive me for reading that as 6.1 instead of 1.6. As for lessening the chances of a ban, Stealth Mode is basically Airplane Mode for Nintendo-related online services. Most people want to use some Nintendo online features when using SX OS meaning they have to turn off Stealth Mode. Its only really useful for stuff like FTP and using the web browser without getting banned.

Uhmm the point is that if be consolé can send the reports of using xci after we go to OFW, or crashes or Any información stored on the nand, Like turning off the telemetry... if that is the case stealth mode isnt so helpfull.

It can also be used for the homebrew app store.

I have something us EU Citizens can try. As I believe this data collection is going against the privacy laws in the EU.

If you have been "Superbanned" and you can not update your hardware device that you paid 'money' for. You could start with this:

Please see the Nintendo site for the proper mail. As it is a GmbH (Germany) you could do it to: "[email protected]" but there are more emails, check your local site.

Request to see the Data they have of your Device (GDPR Data Request):

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: Request to access to personal data according to Art. 15 GDPR

My reference: 2018-######
Date: 2018-MM-DD

To Whom It May Concern:

I am hereby requesting access according to Article 15 GDPR. Please confirm whether or not you are processing personal data (as defined by Article 4(1) and (2) GDPR) concerning me.

In case you are, I am hereby requesting access to the following information pursuant to Article 15 GDPR:
1. all personal data concerning me that you have stored;
2. the purposes of the processing;
3. the categories of personal data concerned;
4. the recipients or categories of recipient to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed;
5. where possible, the envisaged period for which the personal data will be stored, or, if not possible, the criteria used to determine that period;
6. where the personal data are not collected from the data subject, any available information as to their source;
7. the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, referred to in Article 22(1) and (4) GDPR and, at least in those cases, meaningful information about the logic involved, as well as the significance and the envisaged consequences of such processing for me.

If you are transferring my personal data to a third country or an international organisation, I request to be informed about the appropriate safeguards according to Article 46 GDPR concerning the transfer.

My request explicitly includes any other services and companies for which you are the controller as defined by Article 4(7) GDPR.

As laid down in Article 12(3) GDPR, you have to provide the requested information to me without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request. According to Article 15(3) GDPR, you have to answer this request without cost to me.

I am including the following information necessary to identify me:
Console-Serial: ########
Console-MAC-Address: ########

If you do not answer my request within the stated period, I am reserving the right to take legal action against you and to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.

Yours sincerely,

########
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not forget to change the Date & "#######"

This way you can request to see the Data Nintendo has of you.

After this, you could go to the next step and request that Nintendo deletes all data they have (meaning the block) from their server. If you still get the error, this means that they have not.

Request to delete the Data they have of your Device (GDPR Erasure request):

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: Request for erasure of personal data according to Art. 17 GDPR

My reference: 2018-######
Date: 2018-MM-DD

To Whom It May Concern:

I am hereby requesting immediate erasure of personal data concerning me according to Article 15 GDPR.

Please erase all personal data concerning me as defined by Article 4(1) GDPR.

I am of the opinion that the requirements set forth in Article 17(1) GDPR are fulfilled.

If I have given consent to the processing of my personal data (e.g. according to Article 6(1) or Article 9(2) GDPR), I am hereby withdrawing said consent.
In addition, I am objecting to the processing of personal data concerning me (which includes profiling), according to Article 21 GDPR.

In case you have disclosed the affected personal data to third parties, you have to communicate my request for erasure of the affected personal data, as well as any references to it, to each recipient as laid down in Article 19 GDPR. Please also inform me about those recipients.

If you object to the requested erasure, you have to justify that to me.

My request explicitly includes any other services and companies for which you are the controller as defined by Article 4(7) GDPR.

As laid down in Article 12(3) GDPR, you have to confirm the erasure to me without undue delay and in any event within one month of receipt of the request.

I am including the following information necessary to identify me:
Console-Serial: ########
Console-MAC-Address: ########

If you do not answer my request within the stated period, I am reserving the right to take legal action against you and to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.

Yours sincerely,

########
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good luck and godspeed.
Make sure you are a EU citizen & bought it in the EU (they will be able to check that on the serial).

Why would they get nervous of this you may ask?

GDPR fines info:

If there is one thing that people know about the GDPR it's that GDPR fines(administrative fines) can go up to 20 million Euros or 4 percent of annual global (note global!) turnover, whichever of both is highest.
They are not going to risk this for a banned account.

While I admit a superban is a dick move to make, we are downloading games we didn't pay for. Take some personal responsibility. And be glad you are in the EU where it appears doing what they did was illegal so you will probably get it reversed.

If anyone has information on how to reverse it, please share. That giving out personal data mail won't cut it, I believe.

Since you don't live in the EU, chances are slim to none that we can reverse it. EU has some laws that doesn't allow blocking the updating of software on hardware.

Trust me, you need to hit them hard. With GDPR threats they should be extremely afraid.

If there is one thing that people know about the GDPR it's that GDPR fines(administrative fines) can go up to 20 million Euros or 4 percent of annual global (note global!) turnover, whichever of both is highest.

You think Nintendo is going to risk 4% of their 'annual' global turnover over a banned account?

They are making billions of dollars with overpriced consoles , games and accessory.. they barely feel the damage. Also this is very interesting indeed i will try but this just sounds almost to good to be true lol

I would just do it in English indeed. They need to follow up on it. You could translate it, but I do not see the benefit of it as the GmbH Nintendo is doing all of europe (so they should be able to read English).

Is that a form that they provide themselves? Or who wrote that text?

It was a great idea for their judgement day to be 1999 Y2K.

    -great additions if they would have made an expansion or dlc in my opinion would be finding out humans trapped in a matrix -

    a follower having a cyborg character living tissue over metal endoskelleton like terminator, and the synths from fallout
