I am searching for 2 specific files called TROJ_DSBRICK_A and TROJ_DSBRICK_B, also known as (A), "r0ml0ader" and (B), "taihen" or simply crashMe.

These files are .nds homebrew which brick the original DS phat and the DS lite.

They were released back in 2006 by dark_fader, whoose website is still up and the signatures of the trojans is still up to be downloaded. You can also verify the .nds file using some DS hacking tools.

I am searching for these because I want to create an complete archive of all original DS hombrew and hacking stuff.

If you still have an copy of any these files, or know where i could download them, i would be really happy. Thank you!

EDIT:
@bobmcjr found the files in some dark corner of the internet!

Why would you need those?

I mean if those are almost extinguished then it makes zero sense to distribute them.
Anyway, to me a homebrew that displays a BG image and zeroes boot code on the firmware is no fun. But that´s me

One member on this forum gave out the files to a member around 2012 for 3DS testing, I tried finding said files around 2009 (like 4 years after they were released) and could not find them anywhere. One of the things which probably now is gone from the Internet.

dark_fader was legit fucked up after that incident too.

Wait what did it do

After about three days, Variant A is about 4% downloaded and Variant B is about 50% downloaded. Variant B may be done by Friday if lucky.

Man, where did you get those? Anyway, great that you keep downloading!
Maybe if you download only one at a time it will speed up? Also, watch your antivirus. I read the bricker was registered by symatech. not that it deletes them as soon as you get them.
