It may also help to use a different driver. This video has a switch driver in the description.

Open Device Manager and look for the switch to show up either in USB devices or it's own category. My computer doesn't make any noise when it detects the switch is connected so this is how I know I have successful RCM.

Have modded about 12 Switches so far with Trinket M0 and 2 have so far had weird issues like this with TX SX OS and Auto RCM. Always after a crash.

1st Switch was able to get going rather quickly.

2nd Switch was stuck on tx logo.

Charged it all night and horizon was loaded in the morning. We need to figure out whats doing this.

I agree man! Getting more info could help this get reported to TX for a patch. Especially considering this is a paid product. Regardless, it is good to hear that I'm not alone. Thanks:D

Had this happen a couple of times, simply keep powering off the Switch and retrying eventually kicks it back into loading.

I'm using the dongle, sometimes it will just show the charging light on the dongle but nothing happens on the Switch, it can take several failed reboots untill it eventually kicks back into gear, keep trying it.

And maybe try turning off Auto RCM once you have it working so at least it can boot into official.

Switch stuck on TX logo - I disabled Autorcm and re enabled it with briccmi. Didn't work right away but that's the only thing I changed after a day or two of almost giving up.

Modded a few hundred wiiU and not 1 single issue with CBHC
the problem is not the installation, it's the users possibility to brick their console that's an issue. Just because you've modded hundreds of wiius with cbhc doesn't mean there aren't people with bricked wiius because of it. Whereas with Haxchi you cannot brick regardless of user errors.

I had this problem yesterday, plug the USB-C cable into the computer and press the power button to disconnect (turn off), press the power again to connect and inject the payload for the tegra in the computer, my solution was the dongle that was not functioning well.

[UPDATE]

Just got new cable... and it WORKED:toot::yayswitch:

I still have no clue what caused the crash, but the RCM issue was solved by getting a new cable.

Also, thank you to everyone who posted here and helped me brainstorm solutions. I appreaciate the help a ton! :D
update the OP to help others.
