Hacking Looking for a cart which can play GB, GBC, GBA and SNES games on my New 3DS XL

Hi, I recently received a New 3DS XL in the mail and its version is 11.6.0.39E, I really want to get a flash cart capable of emulating games from the systems which I mentioned in the title of the post but emulating original NDS games would be a bonus.

I was looking around on the net for one but it's becoming all confusing now, I did find people talk about the R4 GOLD Upgrade Pro but there doesn't seem to be any info regarding GB, GBC or SNES games except for GBA and NDS, I also heard about the DS Two Plus for most Gameboy games and SNES but I don't think it is compatible with my 3DS version.

Any help would be appreciated.

The DSTwo (as most DS flashcards updated in the past... 4 years?) work fine on 11.8

Few people would recommend using a DS flashcard for emulators on a 3DS (although some for-DS emulators are surprisingly good), when you can just mod your 3DS and use 3DS-mode emulators (or virtualization)

You may be confused by the fact one (extremely reliable) way to hack a 3DS is using a reprogrammed DS flashcard (the "ntrboot" method)

Yes, that's my recommended method (as the most powerful one, the only one provably unfixable, works on any console of any version including bricked ones, ...)

But if you still are not on 11.8, you may want to wait - smea is allegedly releasing a new free exploit (usable for installing CFW) on the 11th, although I'm not sure on any details

Every single one of those systems can be played without a flashcart, just with cfw. New Super Ultimate Injector is what you'll want to look for, although Bubble2k16's port of Snes9x might be better than injection for certain games.

Do you know how Super Mario RPG looks life on Bubbles emulator? I'm playing it through retroarch on n3ds but it has tons of weird artifacts and glitchy behavior in the overworld thats gets in the way

It's nice, even on o3DS.

Supercard DStwo or u can use CFW and play these games without any cart (best way).

In any case do not get a Supercard DSTWO or any other flash cart, for that matter. This is outdated advice! Everything you listed works with CFW on a N3DS nowadays. Follow the guide, install CFW and then look into the specific systems you want to play here on GBATemp, everything you need is documented here and when you don't find something just ask (but search first and tell us how you searched to avoid confusion).

Get a ROM of the game you want, convert to CIA using this, then install and play it, couldn't be simpler, no need for emulators

So did this exploit get released since then? I have been out of the loop in regards to what he has been doing and where to access it assuming he has released it already.

In source code form (which is legally recognized free speech ) but nobody has assembled it into a practical application (comparably to CFW in general and Haxchi for the WiiU, both of which were similiarly invented and released by Smea before the general public had practical access to them)
